I picked a lavalier to compliment my DJ rig. I used my XSW1 with handheld on a mic stand and XS2 Lav on a groom for a wedding ceremony, I ran the lav at 0db gain and got a hot signal into my mixer. He sounded great and was able to roll the treble off a bit, turn mixer up and pick the bride up during their vows. It has a great omnidirectional pickup pattern. I was not able to full use the included rack mount as the bolt pattern on the new racker and joinery piece is not compatible with gen 1 systems. I'll rework the metal pieces to properly install everything. I do wish they offered a complimentary windscreen for the mic, not that I needed it but will have to source one now for future outdoor use.
