It is better than I imagined
Just received the new item - I don’t even know what to call it - but I am so happy that I found it here on Amazon - (iJDMTOY Slim Size Carbon Fiber Pattern Style Key Fob Shell Compatible With MINI Cooper 3rd Gen F55 F56 F57 F54 F60 Smart Key Fob) I probably would change the name somehow to say it better -What it does is :take my lightweight and round and bulky Mini Cooper key fob and makes it weighted and slimline - it feels great in my hand - the strength of this item protects the components inside of the key fob like the oversized lightweight plastic ring did - but it was just too bulky -taking it out of the package I noticed the weight and that it’s solid metal not plastic - when I put it on my mini coopers key fob I am so satisfied with the result- I am very happy that I purchased it - I am so happy to have a fix to my problem with my original large round Mini Cooper key fob : which was It’s not easy to manage in my pocket with my other keys, wallet, phone etc.The item arrived today - and because I had to replace my battery the other day it was fresh in my head how to open up my key fob- while replacing the battery is when I realized that the outer ring could be removed.- I was about to just fasten some duct tape around it when I thought maybe someone already came up with a product that would help me - so I went to Amazon to look around and that’s when I found this item - to open the key fob I would suggest looking for a video (I think someone already posted one here on the review area but if I’m wrong take a look on YouTube for replacing the battery for the Mini Cooper key fob)I did see the other guys post that said the paint chips easily- I’ll hope that that doesn’t happen to mine, so with that I will do my vast to not toss around my keys etc but I’ll review it up date this one if I have the same problem -For now I am super happy with my find here on Amazon and highly recommend this item for anyone looking for a solution like I was.
