Unlike most of these so-called 'ceramic' or graphene, hydrophobic etc etc coatings, this one actually adds shine. I've been using the Megs ceramic spray on rinse off blue spray bottle for a while, but it feels expensive now. This Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer is way more hydrophobic, seems to last and also adds a deep shine. Added it to my bonnet first and when I came to wash the car, it was far easier to clean and dry that section too. Now coated the whole car and still have a good 80-90% of the bottle left. Great value and works well. The hype is real.

If you like beads, this is the one. Nothing will get close to the beading this stuff provides. Excellent value for money, just I use it on a wet car while drying and it works flawlessly, dry off and buff, finish is good not exceptional, but after a 5 minute drive, you'd never see that difference, however it's the beading that lasts! Multiple washes later it's still going, and it's so cheap, you can just use a small amount each wash to top up. The only downside is that it isn't very slick, the finish is almost grabby after it's dry. But a small price to pay for the price Vs performance. Even if it's just mixed down with water to do the shuts. Amazing, buy some.

I have an abundance of car care products, and I wanted to add something that was easy to apply and what could give me a decent shine and great water repellent, this products ticked all of the boxes for me, I would highly recommend this to someone that liked a clean, good looking, vehicle! A downside I found was that it's pretty hard to notice what panels you've used it on, but other than that it's a great little product, I think the only other thing I could ask for is a lower price, but business is business!

I didn't jump into a review of this stuff but wanted to see how it performed long term. I applied once before winter set in and just today can report it is still going strong despite the weather and frequent washing. Excellent appearance water repellent and outstand8ng durability. No issues applying it either to my black car with zero streaking observed. Highly recommended

This gives good beading but is not the best to apply.. found spraying onto a cloth and applying is better than spraying the panel..

So easy, no streaking or residue, simply apply, wait a few seconds and buff off with a clean cloth... brilliant! Seems to "lift" the paintwork, it does "shine" after and smells OK too! One squirt goes along way...Beading is fantastic, am testing it's durability as did half the bonnet with a carnauba wax I had, see if it's better, same etc performance wise but so far, washed it with soap and has kept it's repellent capability... Not done a full chemical wash but, it's so easily applied and quick, not concerned and assume the more I use the longer the durability as I build the layers...time will tell. Would say it's as good asthetically as a ceramic, you would be really hard pushed to know the difference, probably not as durable but not bothered due to ease of use...would definitely buy again!

I have tried a number of detailers and this is my favourite. The only issue is that it can be hard to buff off. I suggest mixing it with some water in a more misting spray bottle. The has the most amazing hydrophobic affect I have ever seen. Follow these steps below for great car results. 1. Wash your car with a good shampoo. 2. Twice a year before and after winter you can clay bar your car using autoglym Rapid detailer as a lubricant. 3. Wax your car with sonax extreme brilliant wax. 4. Use sonax detailer to seal the wax. Do a small area at a time and DON'T let it dry. Spray on a panel at a time. Buff to a dry shine. Go to the next panel. Sonax has become my goto to product for wax and sealing to a great shine. I hope this helps. I have noticed some find it streaks. I agree with that. But, mine streaked because the car was too warm and I didn't wipe it off soon enough. Here is some advice. Make sure your car is in the shade. Make sure your car isn't warm. Do a small area at a time and wipe off immediately. Another trick is to dilute the product worth 50/50 water. This gave me around 7 weeks of hydrophobic affect. It's also better to use another spray bottle which has a fine spray. It is very important to follow this advice for the best results.

Wash your car properly, preparation is important, then dry your car. Apply it on a dry microfiber towel and put it on your car. No need to rub it in, very easy to apply. No need to buff it out, just leave it and it will dry without marks or anything. You can use a lot of the product without any doubt. Your car will shine, and if you wash your car later it will be a lot easier. This was applied one month ago, went on a vacation, quick wash and I was still amazed how well the hydroponic effect was working. I have used a lot of products but this one is perfect, no disadvantages. Summary; easy to apply, shine is great, hydrophobic effect is great, no white marks when drying, will last at least one month and probably longer, price is fair.

Nous sommes très contents de ce produit allemand Sonax et sommes à notre deuxième achat. On connait la marque bien car on utilise aussi la cire liquide noire Sonax. Personnellement, je veille à ce que la voiture soit bien lavée et rincée tout d’abord et puis je sèche à moitié avec un gros torchon microfibre épais (peluche). Puis je vaporise un peu sur chaque partie de la voiture en essuyant soigneusement au fur et à mesure avec un autre chiffon épais microfibre. Je conseille d’utiliser les chiffons microfibre pour auto, épais et ultra-doux, car c’est cela qui enlève toutes les traces d’eau, repartit le produit et puis polit la carrosserie. Après on trouve que la voiture est ultra brillante et lisse et que l’effet déperlant est longue durée et aussi efficace que la cire.
