Nice item to make things easier for yourself & the spouse! Works great and when you consider the price of a 100 foot hose & a separate manual reel at Amazons price this was a no brainer! Easy to install. I put mine onto to one of my center deck posts & made a longer leader to reach it, this way it's out of the way & out of the sun. No leaks at all so far. It carries like a suitcase with it's built in handle & has a quick release pin, so I would recommend to bring it indoors somewhere where the temps are above freezing in the winter months.

Nice product that functions well and enables the user to utilize a water hose without difficulty. The housing swivels and makes it easy to pull out enough hose to water around the entire yard. Best part is the rewinds itself with the retractable internal spring. Recommend installing a piece of 2"x 6" to hardiplank siding first, then mount the base on same. My son bought one and I liked it enough to purchase one for myself. Photo shows one of our big loving community cats helping us install the hose real and plant flowers :)

Works and retracts well. The garden hose included with this unit is not very good. Not sure how long it will last, plus it kinks while moving around. Other than that I am pleased with it. The Giraffe (which I do have) is a better unit, but much more expensive.

The hose reels is working well, but I'm concerned with the product poor quality. The nozzle lasted so few, is broken now and I had a nighttime leakage (I can't understand why this kind of thing only happens when we are sleeping) and now I'm using the 2nd nozzle, included as well, but without the 10 patterns of spraying. [UPDATING] Customer Service contacted me and arranged a fast nozzle replacement. Everything working fine now!

I have two of these hoses. Easy to mount. Makes watering a breeze. Especially if you hate rolling up the hose. Good Price and looks much neater than a big box next to the house.

Purchased this last year and now it won’t retract. Tried reaching out to Reductus but can’t find a number for them. Very disappointed as we only used it one summer.

I wish it was better made. I love how it works and the whole concept but this particular one was disappointing. It kinks fairly easily, it always wants to retract while in use,the brake stopped working, and it will not retract all the way in anymore it stops 4ft before it should. However even with the negative things about this particular product I will be getting a better made brand. I am absolutely thrilled with the ease of use and convenience of having a retractable hose for my garden and how much nicer it looks.
