Funrous 2 Pcs 304 Stainless Steel Sheet,12 x 6 x 0.018 Inch Metal Sheet for Crafting, Not Magnetic Flat Sheets of Metal for Kitchen DIY Craft Making

I haven't used any of these stainless steel sheets but they appear to be nice sheets with one side covered with protective wrap, that side has a nice mirror like polish to it. They measure 12"H X 6"W X 0.018" thick. I wanted to clear something up for prospective buyers, some reviewers have given these one star because a magnet would not stick to them causing them to believe they were junk not "real steel". In reality stainless steel has several "families" or alloy groups, some families contain grades of stainless steel that due to their make up and the process to create them have magnetic properties other families containing nickel, chromium, vanadium, molybdenum, and other metals and due to the process to create them they lose their magnetic properties. One of those families is the Austenitic family with grades of stainless like 304, 316, 317 etc. These are excellent stainless steels very resistant to rust and corrosion not junk just because a magnet won't stick to them. I believe these sheets are grade 304 stainless. If being magnetic is important to you look for alloys in the Ferritic alloy family like 409 & 430.

This stuff is awesome. Safety needed for sharp edge. Used tinsnips to cut.. Excellent application for rc car lexan body needs... :-))

Why did you pick this product vs others?: size

These panels did great, I riveted them to my dog door. Blue Heeler loves to chew or I should say did love to chew up the door flap

Box was plain white with a small barcode that had "stainless ste..." written on that sticker. This was not stainless steel. No magnets will stick to it. The protective adhesive said mirror and when I pealed it back, it was mirror panels, not steel. Now there will be a project delay for product misrepresentation. And, I'll have to wait to get a ride to make a return.

The sheets are not magetic which is what I wanted, but they are undersize in both dimensions so I can't use them. Actual sizes as shipped are 5 7/8" X 11 3/4".

Well packaged, arrived smooth and unblemished. Non-magnetic so it is one of the better grades of stainless steel.

I bought small powerful magnets to make a check list for groceries. The magnets stick to my fridge, but not to these sheets. Obviously don't have much steel in them.

I ordered these to use as props for product photography. There was no protective film. Both sides were completely scratched up and I cannot use them.
