Love these chips! They are kettle crunchy and the right amount of salt!

Best chips I have ever tasted
I saw these chips in a New York Times potato chip taste test. They were spot on in terms of crispness, salt level and lack of greasiness. I bought a case and had friends taste testing. One person thought they were too salty and everyone else loved them. I'm glad I can only buy them online thereby limiting how much I buy and consume.

Not the best tasting
But was worth the deal. Coworkers seemed to enjoy them and they're was a decent amount in each bag.

Beats the heck out of the competition ...
UPDATE: Still my favorite chips! Yes, I've tried a few other brands. But these really do have the best flavor (they taste like potatoes! What a concept!). I like them so much that I have them on subscribe & save. I think I've finally found the perfect "kettle-cooked" chips. The Original Sea Salt chips are absolutely the best I've tasted so far (and I think I've tried virtually every chip available either online or in my local supermarkets. These are crispy, perfect golden color, and, most important to me, NOT TOO SALTY! The perfect amount of sea salt makes these tasty but not "drying." There are only three ingredients used: potatoes, sea salt, and sunflower oil. That's it. No preservatives, nothing else. Yummy! The case I purchased has a long expiration date -- 3.5 months from the date of purchase gives me enough time to consume these before they exceed their "best buy" date (yes, I know their consumable after that date, but it's nice that these are on the "fresh" side). I also appreciate that they donate 10% of their profits to organizations that affect them directly. Will definitely purchase these again! Really tasty, not too much salt -- solid 5 stars. I love them!

I'm happy !
What I liked about this product was it had a really good expiration date which was 5/6 months away, it is non-gmo and uses sunflower oil. The rest of the ingredients are all natural. They are thicker than regular chips and the sea salt sort of sealed the deal. I read the reviews and was almost not going to buy them. I decided I would use my own opinion because it is hard to find chips that are all natural using sea salt and not that canola which is bad for you. Also too they are GMO which is another hard thing to find in stores in Maine. There was a dent in the side of the box, but not a chip crushed ??? The flavor was really good and not greasy. I have them as a subscribe and save item. I don't see any issues and was happy they arrived intact, tasted really good and used wholesome ingredients. What more could I ask for? They got a 5 Star review from me. I highly recommend this potato chip and their are many other varieties to pick from that too are all natural.

WARNING: Ingredients changed, non-GMO verification missing
2025 UPDATE: They have had a class action lawsuit successfully filed against them. The claim submission time for consumers ($5 per product purchase) has now ended as of this update. That's what you get when you become a terrible company. --- UPDATE: I attempted to contact the company about this, both directly via e-mail and on their twitter/facebook pages, and they didn't respond to me or anyone else inquiring into this issue. For a brand that tried to be consumer conscious, they now seem to not care one bit as they shift into GM ingredients. Simply put, never buy this company's products ever again. --- As of the last month, these chips are now missing their non-GMO project verification badge, along with changing the ingredients list. No longer are they "Cooked exclusively in sunflower oil, never a blend!". It's now 'vegetable' oil, which includes either corn, cottonseed, sunflower or rapeseed (canola). I am allergic to corn, so I can now no longer consume these chips; not that I'd even want to as the oil(s) can come from GM produce. The shipment box to Amazon was #52 of 60, so there's at least a large lot of these new products out in the wild. It was also completely missing all branding; just a plain brown box with some label stickers on it. The quality of these chips was degrading over time, so I guess it's about time to find another brand.. which is really difficult as most are conventional garbage like this product now is.
