Wire quality: 1 metre cable dropped 0.018 volt while under 1 amp load, so probably 18AWG, but I haven't cut one to verify. Outer sheath 3.65mm diameter. My set contained 2x banana-to-banana cable, 2x banana-to-croc cable, 2x needle probes and 2x detachable croc clips, all red and black. £12 I paid and I think that's fair for the quality.
