Brian **Q: How would you charge it if there is a cover on the gopro** A: Every GoPro since the Hero 5 is waterproof without a case and has a door to access the power port. For Hero 5, Hero 6 and Hero 7 you take the GoPro out of the frame (like you are charging it at home or in your truck) open the power door and pull off the door (Google it or call us), then slide the camera back into the frame. We do recommend our Silicone Rainproof Putty be wrapped around the cord going into the camera and also into the stick to keep everything dry. GoPro Hero 8 & 9 both were redesigned and have a Side Door that can be replaced by a PowerDoor that we sell or others sell to replace the side door so there is a hole in the door for external power.
