Used very little pressure and a soft cloth to remove a mark and the gold paint started to rub off. Very sturdy item that will remain where it is placed so check the dimensions first.

The size of the holder’s square is way bigger than a standard Kleenex tissue box. I secured with tape since there’s no bottom cover. That aside, it looks nice and I like the muted but clearly gold color in the stripe.

I love the color crispness, but more importantly, I LOVE the weight. It is heavy enough so that it stays in place when pulling out the tissue. Would definitely buy again!

I'm giving this 3 stars because it is chic and pretty. It's also nice and sturdy and doesn't look cheap at all. What I couldn't get over is there is no bottom to it. If I wanted to lift and offer someone a tissue, the tissue box would fall straight out the bottom. After rigging the bottom with tape and cardboard to keep the tissue box inside, I ended up returning it. It's too pricey and too much of a hassle to keep messing with it each time I had to replace the tissue box. Disappointed though because otherwise, it was perfect.
