Perfect Fit But Sharp Edges!
I needed one of these to attach my hose to my pressure washer, because both ends were female. This does the trick just fine. One issue though is that the edges are pretty sharp, and I cut myself when screwing it in. So I had to get some find sandpaper and go around all the threads to take the sharpness off it. I'm taking off a star for that issue. Apart from that it's fine, I used thread tape so there is no leakage, and it was easy to screw in. Quality is pretty good and looks like it will last a long time.

Super Precision Made Brass Garden Hose Interconnector
This set of connectors is made for some specific needs by us garden repair dudes. It is perfect to insert into a broken hose reel that has a FEMALE INPUT on its side. You don't really want to screw a 3-5 foot connection hole into this socket, because it is fragile. So I use a M-M GHT adapter like this one (GHT = Garden Hose Thread, different tech than a tapered Pipe Thread) to screw into the plastic socket with an included WASHER. The HEX nut built in snugs right up. Then I use a short 3-5 foot F-F Garden Hose Section to connect to this adapter and then to the water faucet located in the garden or on side of house, etc. When attaching to the Interconnector, be sure to use a wrench to hold the Interconnector via its Hex nut, so you don't spin and over-torque the thing into the hose real's fragile plastic Female input socket. Package includes two Hose Washers for use if you don't have one. Or replace your old crunchy one with this new pliable washer, assuring a perfect, no-leak experience!
