bumps…using with two JL wxv2’s 200 watt subs in the 2018 subie STI. my old school 2005 280watt PPI amp had a failing gain knob.. this amo is better

It's not an SQ oriented amp. If you're looking at this, you know it's not the best quality out there but it is, in my opinion, the best quality for the money. Hifonics makes the best amps in their price range. Great amp for those on a budget.

Used to power a single 15” Fosgate sub. Replaced a Fosgate amp that cost twice as much. Sounds just as good. I got 6 good years from the Fosgate. If I get at least that many from this Hifonix, I’ll be happy.

Lovely powerful but the nobs break easily

I purchased one of the first released zrx's. This is the second rendition purchased it a few years back. They don't do rated power a 1200's going to give you more like if you're trying to get more Watts just get the bigger version. Just remember. Whatever you get look at the fuse on it. That'll let you know what you're getting. They work really well. I've never had a problem with any of their apps ever. The first ZRX I bought worked flawlessly. The second one worked flawlessly. Never had a problem with overheating. I've ran it halfway. I've ran it almost all the way turned up. I don't use the bass boost so maybe that's what it is. I don't really know but I've never had a problem with the amp. I have two z-rx's right now. I have the Zeus 1200. I got two of them. I don't have any problems with them at all. None I would recommend it for somebody on a budget. Definitely like I said just get a little bit bigger one if you want more power and look at the fuse that's on it. That'll tell you what you got. The amp that I have has a 700 00 my bad 70 amp fuse. It does about 700 not 12. Anyways, I highly recommend been running these particular amps since 2013-14 when they first came out and like I said I've never had a problem with them at all. Some people say they're garbage. I think I guess if you turn everything wide open yeah you could have some problems. But if you know what you're doing and you've done your research, you should never use bass boost. You want to crank it up but you don't want to have it wide open. Your gain is not a volume knob. I've never had a problem with any of their stuff failing so by all means buy one
