Wore for almost 5 years
I wore these slippers inside the house and out in the yard, every day, for four years and nine months. Yes, at some point during that time the fabric was a little worn. I threw them away today because the rubber finally showed signs of wear and tear. My foot got wet when I was outside with the dogs. These are the most expensive slippers I have ever purchased but they lasted so long they're definitely worth it.I've had several surgical procedures on tendons and the support in the slippers makes recovering easier. They're also just really comfortable. I used to be a barefoot person. Now I'm so spoiled, I miss my slippers if I don't have them on.After almost five years they remained well fitting. I hate when people shuffle on the floor and these slippers snuggle your feet when you're walking because the velco holds tight.I'm glad I had already purchased a backup pair because they aren't available now.

Beautiful.
I bought these for one reason...they were beautiful. And they are not to disappoint. The colors are peach and soft green. Extra nice is the great shoe cups that keep your foot in place. True to size.Keeps your poor feet from feeling the hard floor.I have bad neuropathy in both feet...and a tiny slit on one foot I'm having trouble healing even with wound cares help. My toes on the left foot are deformed from the big toe leaning to the left....AFTER having foot surgery several years ago.I have no arc in this left foot...but these slippershave an arch support that helps. I am told to be careful with slides and a foot sore, but these are the first footwear I have found in 10 years that I can wear comfortably. All around great slippers for those with foot problems. And they are beautiful.

The Best Bedroom Slipper
Vionic is absolutely the best for bedroom slippers. They are supportive with good arch support. I am particularly fond of this style and have bought it repeatedly through the years as needed. Unfortunately, Vionic has discontinued this item and I was thrilled to find in on Amazon. I hope Vionic listens to their customers and brings it back!

Superior support but...
I bought these slippers (they're really more like "mules" than slippers) to help with my plantar fasciitis, and after only three days, I can feel a significant difference in my foot pain. The arch support is fantastic, and it doesn't hurt my feet like some orthotic insoles or shoes can. However, the fit is wide - and I have a medium-width to wide foot. The length is just right though. I am a true size 9 and these are a perfect fit - except for the width of course. I'll wear socks with them when it gets colder - which will take care of the width a little. Having said that, I'd rather them be too wide than too narrow. These slippers are also very VERY warm - which is fine if you have cold feet and live in a cold climate. But I live in sub-tropical Charleston, SC where it's mid-October and we still have the A/C blasting. Another few weeks and I'll be grateful for their warmth, but until then, I have to take them off every 15 minutes and let my feet breathe. I can tell already I'll be using antiperspirant on my feet when I wear these slippers. :)Finally, because of the design and width of these slippers, they look big and clunky on my feet. In other words, they're ugly. LOL. If, like me, you don't care how they look, you won't mind. I'll only wear them around the house anyway, and I bought them for support, which I was NOT getting from the traditional slippers, slipper-socks, casual shoes, flip-flops, and Uggs I was wearing at home.In summary, I'm glad I spent the extra $$ for these quality-made slippers. Being pain-free is worth more than money AND looks.

Comfortable, supportive and warm.
Amazingly comfortable and supportive slippers. After 4 foot surgeries and enough surgical pins, screws, and plates to start my own hardware store, I take my footwear very seriously. I live in a part of the country that has a mild winter climate, but my house is all tile on a solid concrete foundation so the floor is cold in the winter no matter how warm the house. I’ve been looking for something to wear in my home during the colder months to keep my feet warm without sacrificing the support they need. I haven’t had any luck until now. The Vionic women’s Gemma mule slipper is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The arch support is fantastic, it’s high and firm without being uncomfortable. The heel cup is deep and really helps to keep your foot stable even on an uneven surface. The outsole is much more like regular shoe than a slipper, and is flexible enough that it doesn’t sound like you are stomping around in clogs. I wear mine out to the mailbox, to take the garbage out, and even into the back yard. The upper portion of the slipper is both soft an slightly padded, making them extremely comfortable even on my scared up feet. The footbed is fairly wide, if I hadn’t bought them myself I would have thought they were wide width. There is a little bit of adjustability with Velcro closure but if you have narrow feet this probably isn’t the slipper for you. I normally wear a 9.5 in most shoe brands, but took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a 9, they fit perfectly right out of the box. So if you’re between sizes like me, my advice is to round down. My only con is they attract dog hair like a magnet, but having to use a lint roller on my footwear now and then is a small price to pay for happy warm feet. This is my first pair of Vionics but it won’t be my last. If you are looking for a comfortable and supportive slipper give these a try I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. They are 5 star all the way.
