It is thin enough that it won't affect the seal. You can also run it through the hole for the co2 tank, if it is stored outside the kegerator, but you might have to widen it slightly. **Q: Can you leave it running indefinitely?** A: Yes, you can. I leave mine running constantly, and it is still going after many years. The blowers have a very long life span, and use very little power.
