Beautiful cut, kept length with nice custom layering and body
Absolutely love my new haircut!!! Always wanted a few layers and when I’d go to a hairdresser I never liked them. Now, I absolutely love them and still kept the length of my hair. Gives my hair so much body! There’s a YT of the inventor doing a 3 layer cut. I just did the 2 layers (maybe I’ll go back and do 3 layers). This creaclip couldn’t have made it any easier. Yep it’s made of plastic but the quality is very nice! First time use and it took maybe 10 minutes to cut my hair. So convenient too. I’m looking forward to my next cut now. Haha. Definitely worth it!

Amazingly simple.
I've been cutting my own hair for years. I got fed up with going to a salon just to have to come home and fix half of the cut anyway. My hair cascaded down my back for years, so I would just bring it forward and cut it that way. It would take me about 20-30minutes per trim. With the Creaclip, that was shaved down to nothing. Using the large clip, a trim took 5 minutes tops. When I decided to chop my hair off recently after having some fun with hairdye and wanting to start fresh, I used the small clip and gave myself an A-line bob. While a little more difficult (though probably my fault since I didn't trim my hair short first and basically chopped off 15inches all at once.. don't do that. Cut it a few inches longer than you want it to be first), it still went fairly easily. I was pretty shocked at how easy it was to give myself the exact cut I set out to do. What I love about this system, is that it costs the same thing that one cut/wash/blowdry/style/tip does at a cheap salon. The styles are really easy to do. Their youtube account is filled with instructive, easy to follow how-to videos for your favorite cuts. If you have a style you want that a video doesn't exist for, you can email them requesting it and they are more than happy to work on getting one filmed for their channel. The customer service is amazing. Really, the only reason I ordered from Amazon instead of directly from them was because I wanted to maintain my privacy and I am scared to order anything from anyone after Spacebags requiring my phone number and selling it off to other companies. The clips are really decently made. They serve their purpose, are easy to use and clean, and feel fairly sturdy. The level is a little tempermental. Before you clip it into your hair, line it up even. If you try to get it level while it is in your hair when the air bubble is way off on a far side, you will be sitting there waiting for it to even out for a really long time. Other than that, I really have trouble finding anything to complain about with this. The best way to cut your hair with this, is to straighten it first. If you have curly hair, cut it two inches longer than you need it. Wavy hair, an inch longer. Cut a little at a time if you are scared. You can always cut more once you get more comfortable with it. This is really wonderful for people who are comfortable cutting their own hair, parents with children who need quick trims, or even just trims between salon visits. I especially love using the small clip for keeping my bangs trimmed since those grow so much faster than everything else.

A must have hair cutting tool
Pros: *Works well cutting hair, whether short, long, thick or thin. *lots of educational videos on YouTube and the Creaclip site *There are so many different types of cuts you can do!!! *seems pretty sturdy with a sturdy clip and hinge, which is an issue if you buy knock offs, according to reviews I've read. *you can support the actual inventor by purchasing this, which seems more honest to me (unless the patent has expired) *the level comes in handy at times. *you'll get and give great haircuts and save tons of money and time over going to a salon Cons: *Pricey for what it is (altho I bought my on Prime Day for under $25) *harder to use on yourself but still doable and safer than using ponytail holders (yes, I know this by experience😁.) *the long white one is harder to store or fit in a cosmetic bag or case. *a little harder to use on fine hair but still doable and my hair is very fine. (I use child ponytails, if that helps for comparison.) *the white one is unneeded for fine hair and the blue one might need to be longer if you're one of those folks with a ton of fine hair (yea, I'm jealous😜). The blue one works fine on my tiny hair tho. Overall: I've been cutting my OWN hair since COVID. And OMG!!! I love these. I used the blue one to fix my ponytail mess where I cut right through the ponytail at an angle. (To my defense, I had rotator cuff surgery, making it tight to do reach behind my head.) I can't make that mistake ever again with these. Yay! Now I'm thinking I might do the beach cut from YouTube next time, only with an angled Bob. These are big fun for us diy at home hair stylists.

Really worth a try. I love it!
I was very hesitant!!! I have shoulder length hair that I'm letting grow out. This made getting the dead split end off super easy. I only needed the small blue one for now because of the length and angle I have to use but it's really helpful. The two separate ones are perfect!!!

Crea clip
This tool is a nice item to cut hair but it is hard to use as advertised unless u have some one cutting your hair for you. Also I used alone so I turn my head down and cut it backwards and wet the hair and it was easy to use and I was able to cut hair the way I wanted.

Worked well on my thin shoulder length hair hair
The CreaClip works as advertised. I would definitely recommend it to save money salon cost. My hair is shoulder length thin, fine and naturally kinky-curly but I wear it flat-ironed straightened. My friend assisted me, cutting hair dry and straightened, using blue small Creaclip. I had someone help me get device leveled in back. I will continue to use this tool for trims. Btw there are lots of videos on YouTube that demonstrate different cuts made with CreaClip. Those videos were helpful because I did not purchase the original Creaclip DVD that the company sells. Also the packaging in very nice. Comes in a quslity sturdy box for storing the the clip, not of those hard clear plastic cases that's very difficult to open.

Easy and Accurate!
My hair was so long with dead ends the salon charges 90 a cut and is booked out for weeks. I received this on Sunday and used it the same afternoon to give myself a nice haircut I was so excited it was so easy. There are so many YouTube videos that can show you how to create layers, bangs etc. it has already paid for itself. Highly recommend.

Did Not Make the Cut for the Self-Cut Long, Layered, Forward Graduation
Because I AM environmental and health conscious and sensitive to chemical smells and there are no green-friendly salons in my area, as well as transportation issues, and for cost purposes i have been cutting my own hair for 7+ years now. When i saw this tool advertised it showed the model flipping her hair forward so she could cut her own hair with it. This is the entire reason i bought the product-i was excited about the prospect of being even more self-sufficient and no longer having to wait around for whenever my busy housemate might be around and available to do a quick blunt trim of the back base line of my of my hair so i can continue with my own self-cutting standard- Long-Layered Forward Graduation cut. I was also hopeful that the clips might make the whole precision edge layering easier and quicker. This was not the case at all! My hair is so fine and thin, that the large general clip was of no use at all- too wide and my hair just slipped out of the grip or would dangle unequally from side to side like a see-saw, or strands would fall out. So i moved on to the small clip that i presumed was meant for bangs and/or children's hair. This clip fit, but was super hard to get any kind of equal line in place, by myself, due to the long length of my hair in back, and flipping the hair forward just caused the clip to bunch up the bottom line of my hair unequally and strands kept slipping out (so could not do a straight blunt line cut in back). I was also initially excited about the idea of the level for cutting precision, but the bubble cannot be kept in place with self-cut of long hair in back, or when flipping it forward, and it cannot be seen well- even with glasses on and under bright lights. Also, for a self-cut the clips did not allow me to craft the correct angles required for slowly graduated layers that frame my face that a person with very fine, thin, straight hair requires a precision cut for- as there is not enough hair to hide any gaps or errors. After quite some time of trying, unsuccessfully, i went back to my old-school way of my manual hands-on cut. I can't say whether or not this product would be good for those cutting another person's hair, or those with different hair type, or shorter style than mine, or kids cuts at home, but for solo me, and my hair and particular cut this product did not make the cut. I returned it for a full refund as is their guarantee.
