Brilliant
Worked perfectly, loved how my hair came out, I'm beyond satisfied. Well worth the price, it's super easy to use and effortless to learn how to properly manage. Perfect product!!!! The grip is not at all an issue. The size is great as well.

Perfect long hair tool
This is worth the money! Makes even straight across. Makes cutting much easier. Great at home tool for long beautiful hair. Recommend it for anyone in need of help to keep even length. 2 sizes for length and bangs.

Pricey pricey but works well
Excellent product. Really does work to correctly trim hair and bangs. But Too Expensive for the plastic materials it should at least include scissors for the price to be fair; even cheap ones. The box is weirdly overly well designed and sturdy - could skip the packaging if it would bring the price down. Well now I own it but others might buy if it was a little cheaper

Leveler Sucks. Clip isn't as secure/tight as it should be.
Third Review: Bangs are getting easier, though I still cannot get a cut straight across. The sides are always longer, angling down along the face and with my hair, this often causes "wings". Even when I straight the hair, it eventually "wings out" with the longer strands. I am still finding the best way to make sure you don't cut too much is to micro cut the hair, that way if you take the clip out, and you see that you've somehow slightly tilted the cut, you can go back and fix that without losing too much length, or cutting too much off. As for the longer parts of my hair, I finally had a family member trim the back because no matter how I did it, I was always slightly off and it was frustrating the heck out of me. The back of my hair is now mid-back length, but it was about 5 inches longer before I started using the CreaClip and trying to trim the length without actually giving myself layers. Second Review after a few attempts: Raising the stairs to three (and a half if I could add that). It is still difficult to use the leveler because it's not easy to see the ball and you're never quite sure if you're "manipulating" the angle of your head/hair to get the bulb to center or not. Also, if you let your hair dangle away from your body, the leveler gives you a different reading than when it's laying against your body and if you have curves, this can become an issue. Especially when you have to turn the clip to trim your hair because sometimes, your hair starts to move and slip which changes the whole situation. That being said, after about 8 or 9 micro-trims on each side, I was finally able to get my long hair to look visibly even on both sides. The one video I watched, the girl split hair down middle, then pulled to front, put into clip, and was able to get a decent cut. I, however, did not have the same luck. My hair is thin but many strands making it a bit on the thick side. I had to put half my hair into the clip, with the leveler in the center of that half, then trim and repeat on the other side. Because of this, getting an "even" cut was difficult so I had to keep brushing, wetting, and trying again. Truth: I can never get a straight cut in the town I live in. Every hairdresser I have gone to as botched my hair, often ending up cutting of 4-5 inches more than I requested trying to "fix" their mistakes. Thus, the reason I wanted to try this clip. Although a bit difficult to use, thanks to the good quality scissors I purchased, and patience, I still got a better cut than I would have, had I paid $30-40 for a cut in town! Original Review when purchased: The leveler is difficult to use/see when you are cutting bangs yourself and want them to be at earlobe length. I had a hard time seeing the bubble. I tried facing the bubble towards my eyes, and I tried facing them toward the mirror. Even when it said it was straight, it wasn't so I had to do it a few times. Luckily, I did small bits at a time as I was afraid of overcutting. I used the blue straight edge but didn't get straight across bangs, instead I got straight in the middle, then slightly longer as it went across the left/right side of my bangs so they have more of a side layer look is the best way to describe it. Finally, the front of my hair is thinning so the clip didn't hold the hair in place as well as I would've liked when I went to cut the bangs. Still debating on whether to keep or return this. Am a bit scared to use the white comb for the bottom of my hair. I have long hair, all one length but every time I got to a local place to get my hair cut, they always screw it up and end up having to cut more off than I'd like trying to get the back straight. I have thin strands, but a lot of hair, so I was hoping the white clip would help me out. I still think it is overpriced for what you get.

A learning curve but worth it for the convenience and less trauma of horrible hair cuts
EDIT: March 2025: I'm changing to 5 stars because I've gotten more comfortable using this product. It's getting warmer where I live and I had grown out ends that needed trimming, so I was more brave and cut more hair off. I cut subtle layers around my face and trimmed up my curtain bangs. Yes, it's awkward getting your hair in the clip and doing it upside down, but start with small lengths to cut and go from there. This was the best looking cut I've given myself yet, and I'm really glad I have this product. I now have a cute hair cut right above my shoulders and I have nailed trimming my curtain bangs too. Original review: July 2024: After getting traumatized by two different hair stylists giving me horrible, and I mean horrible hair cuts, I was just done trusting people with my hair....I saw this tool and kept my eye on it for a while....then after the second bad hair cut that ended up with my bangs in a complete fiasco, I finally broke down and got this set. I haven't gotten very brave aside from flipping my hair over and doing long layers. I like how well it worked with my hair framing my face. I need to experiment on my bangs a little more and thin them out, so that will be my next to-do. Either way, I think this is worth the set if you can have someone at home to cut it for you, or if not, flip your hair over and do layers. I've only taken 1 inch off the 2 times I've used this so far, so my cut is extremely subtle, which is perfectly fine with me. Better than the 6 inches that one "stylist" hacked off my hair and the 4 inches another "stylist" hacked off when I asked for curtain bangs...Never again!!! So glad I have this set!

Solid cut.
I have thin, curly hair. My 13 year old cut my hair with this. It's a solid cut. Not fancy, but certainly acceptable. She has thick, straight hair. Also no problem cutting an even line. Will definitely be using for the next haircut.

Did Not Make the Cut for the Self-Cut Long, Layered, Forward Graduation
Because I AM environmental and health conscious and sensitive to chemical smells and there are no green-friendly salons in my area, as well as transportation issues, and for cost purposes i have been cutting my own hair for 7+ years now. When i saw this tool advertised it showed the model flipping her hair forward so she could cut her own hair with it. This is the entire reason i bought the product-i was excited about the prospect of being even more self-sufficient and no longer having to wait around for whenever my busy housemate might be around and available to do a quick blunt trim of the back base line of my of my hair so i can continue with my own self-cutting standard- Long-Layered Forward Graduation cut. I was also hopeful that the clips might make the whole precision edge layering easier and quicker. This was not the case at all! My hair is so fine and thin, that the large general clip was of no use at all- too wide and my hair just slipped out of the grip or would dangle unequally from side to side like a see-saw, or strands would fall out. So i moved on to the small clip that i presumed was meant for bangs and/or children's hair. This clip fit, but was super hard to get any kind of equal line in place, by myself, due to the long length of my hair in back, and flipping the hair forward just caused the clip to bunch up the bottom line of my hair unequally and strands kept slipping out (so could not do a straight blunt line cut in back). I was also initially excited about the idea of the level for cutting precision, but the bubble cannot be kept in place with self-cut of long hair in back, or when flipping it forward, and it cannot be seen well- even with glasses on and under bright lights. Also, for a self-cut the clips did not allow me to craft the correct angles required for slowly graduated layers that frame my face that a person with very fine, thin, straight hair requires a precision cut for- as there is not enough hair to hide any gaps or errors. After quite some time of trying, unsuccessfully, i went back to my old-school way of my manual hands-on cut. I can't say whether or not this product would be good for those cutting another person's hair, or those with different hair type, or shorter style than mine, or kids cuts at home, but for solo me, and my hair and particular cut this product did not make the cut. I returned it for a full refund as is their guarantee.

sehr empfehlenswert

Worth it!
So easy to use my husband has been cutting my hair. I've been having bad luck with stylists (at expensive salons too!) so this item has really been worth it imo.
