This is my dad’s favorite splint out of the 3 he has tried so far (the other 2 were from the hospital). The elastic around the fingers helps when getting it onto a weak, flaccid hand/arm. It also seems to help with edema as well.

as a stroke survivor of 7 years with clinched hands in a fist. this brace exceeded my expectations, since none of the others worked. This keeps my hand straight and most of all it stays in and doesn't want to clinch up and make a fist. it is very comfortable. Now I am very hopeful I will get my hand somewhat back and crochet. All that I can say I am very happy and hopeful for the future. My hand is in a fist so yes, my husband and i have to fight with the spacisity to get my fingers in place, but once they are in they are not going anywhere. zFor all my stroke survivors just get it and use it every night before your hand gets like mine, be patient to get your fingers in it, nothing is perfect but this brace is perfect as it gets for our needs.

every stroke patient is different but if it's your dominant hand that is not usable and needs to stretch This is kind of hard to put on unless you have assistance. The quality is wonderful The material is wonderful and they have clenched stretch it gives is great. so it's not so much the product as far as the patient.

Fits perfectly and works great for my husband who had a stroke! Highly recommend!! Great quality and price!! Velcro is great through many washes!!

This is my 2nd splint. I definitely prefer this to the first one I had, which was from a different brand. This is sturdier, more attractive, velcro is strong and the loops functional, thus keeping the splint in place. It didn't fall off my hand at all because of the velcro and the added reinforcementfrom the loops. I like everything about this splint and would recommend it. It's functional and is fit for purpose. The only thing I didn't like is the width of the individual spaces to place each finger. It is too big for me but perhaps a smaller size would address this, so it doesn't take away from giving a 5 star rating. It's also easier to put on, in comparison to the one I had from another brand. I don't need assistance to put it on.

Easy to put on and with a durable support . It’s is soft against the skin with a padded insert. It’s easy to clean and can be separated for a thorough cleaning, however a thin fabric covering the foam insert washed off when I rinsed it. The fabric isn’t necessary but since it was added, it should be better secured.

Well made but my occupation therapist advised me to flatten out the palm area and also create a 90 degree angle between the forefinger and thumb. I removed the plastic brace insert by clipping the rear seam and slipping the plastic insert out. I then heated the plastic with a heat gun (hair dryer is not hot enough) and then with a gloved hand I pressed the soft plastic to shape as necessary. More than one heat application my be necessary. NOTE: modified for post DUPRETREN hand surgery.
