The 50mm hose that Festool sells is really what you would want, and you probably won’t need an adapter at all for that to work. The problem is that the way they built the Mini and MIDI vacs, the 50mm hose end can’t plug into the vac itself. I use the Festool Y plugged into the MIDI, and then plug the 50mm hose into that, but you might be better off just buying the CT26 and 50mm hose. **Q: Does this unit include the remote that attaches to the end of the hose?** A: No it does not include the remote. You have to purchase it separately. **Q: what is the difference between this and the older 575267 that was discontinued?** A: The 575267 is upgraded with bluetooth technology.
