Our Lord Cthulhu is an huge creature but at the same time small enough to fit into the bottom of this small cup. Its effect on you primarily takes two forms, either from its terrifying physical appearance or by being physically attacked, as it is a creature of immense power. The cup is designed well enough, but as for the monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind, that dwells in the depths of this “mug”. My biggest issue with this purchase is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. It just makes you want to shout "Cthulhu fhtagn!” "Cthulhu fhtagn!” "Cthulhu fhtagn!” Into the void for all of time. I really like the design of the black on the out side and the light cream color of the interior despite actually revealing that we live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.
