Great wet dry vac for the money
So I admit I got a little excited watching car detailing videos. The Detail Geek does such a good job that I began thinking that maybe I could grow up and do at least half as nice a job as he could. So I Googled around, read on reddit, and found a few options. But the Home Depot one most commonly suggested had some really poor reviews. And when I found this one, I saw it had good features and more horsepower, as well as happy reviews. The price was right, so I picked it up. It's going to do great with the car but at first I've used it in the house. I live in the south and it can get a little cobwebby pretty fast. After the zip through with the regular vacuum, I came along with this one. I used the extension tubes, two of them, plus the crevice tool, and was able to reach ceilings, corners, wood trim along the floor, and other hard to reach places with ease. The suction is great and the house looks nice. You have to screw on the four wheels, which is not really a big deal, one screw each. And I also found my crevice tool inside the actual vacuum. So you may have to take yours apart to find some extensions. That's not difficult. Just pop two clip handles off the side and then pull the motor and filter top off. It doesn't weigh much. As a matter of fact, the whole unit doesn't weigh much at all. It comes with a pretty good power cord that seems to be the same diameter as my heavy duty extension cord that I attached to it so I could roam around the entire house. The vacuum has a thick red handle mounted at the top that also folds down, and when you pull it up and lift the unit with it it's an easy chore. So far, I've enjoyed working with this vacuum a lot and the results on the house have been effective. Will take it out to the car when it stops raining. But given the suction that I've seen so far inside it won't have any problem getting me towards Detail Geek results.

For the money, I'm not sure you can beat it!
Easy to set up out of the box. Works great! Pulls dirt out from deep in the carpet. Bucket seems really sturdy, all the attachments are quality and fit the hoses perfect. I use an extractor tip when shampooing auto carpets, pulls liquid with ease! Moves along the ground pretty decent. The detachable blower makes it very portable, and man does it blow!

Powerful and Versatile unit for a home shop or garage
While I already have a couple of shop vacs, my main one I frequently leave connected to my table saw. And changing the hose between the saw and the regular extended hose I use for general cleaning was proving to be too tedious as I have aged. The large 2-1/4inch hose and the associated nozzles were awkward to use to get into smaller places like under and around my workbenches and the smaller crevices of my other power saws and CNC equipment. So I began looking around for a versatile and cost effective smaller vacuum and found this unit. So far, it has exceeded my expectations for value, strength, and utility. It is stable dragging around my shop, not tipping over or catching on the various corners of other shop equipment. And it is powerful, easily picking up metal shavings from both drilling and tinsmithing activities along with the usual dust, wood chips, and saw dust. The fact that it can be used as a leaf blower as well I haven't really tried yet. But the fact that you can do that with it is a plus. It's Fall as I write this so I'll be trying it out as a blower soon. It has a convenient carry handle that folds out allowing for two-handed control of the included blower tube. More on that when I finally use it that way. Overall a well made unit with all the features of a larger shop vac but with the perqs of smaller size and the ability to be a handheld leaf blower as well. I suspect the fact that it's powerful as a vacuum will serve it well as a smaller area leaf blower as well as for clearing dirt and dust from gardening activities.

Decent item for price
Havent used blower yet but I think it was a neat idea to add on and could be useful. It was easy to assemble but will need a screwdriver to do it. Has great suction, light weight, and rolls easy. Filters were nicer then expected and like the variety of accessories. Only cons/probs Ive noticed so far has been that the accessories seem to be more cheaply made then the rest of it and than any other brands I've bought over the years and some of them dont work as well or just arent quite shaped right is how i can best put it. The floor piece would be awesome but just very awkward angles to use it and I've tried using it any way possible to make it work better lol..have to sit down to get closest angle but besides those minor things this seems to be a great little machine and recommend getting it. Price is good and accurate to me. Also not too big but big enough, i was going to get a smaller at first so easier to store but saw this and had to try it out but size was better then expected and dont see it being much problem to store.

This product both SUCKS and BLOWS. And how.
After two years of letting various annoyances build up in my garage, I decided it was time clean house. I considered several options I settled on this shop vac over a traditional vacuum cleaner, even though I had no need for the ability to vacuum up puddles. This things SUCKS and BLOWS in a big way. The first thing I vacuumed was a pile of leaves that had infiltrated the garage, one pile of which a cat had peed on. It handled the leaves expertly with few exceptions that could easly be fixed with a little tap on concreate. It even pulled up a few wood chips from my fire wood pile, though understandbly a few caused problems, that it could even handle any was amazing. Next was a small piles of discarded ethernet terminals and keystones, which it gobbled up with no problems. It also pulled up stripped wire insulation, tiny section of ethernet cables (less than an inch) tiny nuts, bolts screws and small bits of 12 to 23 gauge wire. Then I turned it on the disgusting mess of cob webs, dead insdects and spiders in every corner, crevice and intersection of floor and wall. Dead salamander? no problem. Dead mouse? gone. At one point it did choke on a dust ball mixed with twigs and stuff. But unlike traditional vacuums, the hose can be taken apart and the clog flushed out of a short section with a garden hose. Since it can handle water, there was no need to wait for it to dry. The utility bathroom was the worst. Spiders had nested in the bath tub. Not anymore. Then there is the small space one of the cats had been secretly pooping in. It sucked it all up with a minimal number breaks to clear the hose line. But that did get old, so I turned on the blower, made a small pile in the corner and blew most of it into a dust pan. The rest of the remaining debris was easy to vacuum. Despite being a heavy duty sucking and blowing machine, it remains light weight. Even the hose and power cord are minimal in bulk. It is just enough to meet your needs while still being able to get the job. This was great for me with my chronic pain condition as bulky vacuums just make everything hard and harder means more pain. The power cord is short, but that is great, because there is less tripping over a pointlessly long cable. If you really need a longer run, thats what an extension cord is for. I only needed an extension for about 10% of the job, and was so glad not to have to deal with several feet of needless cords. This shop vac comes highly recommended!

Sucks well
This vacuum sucks very well. Better and more powerful than expected. Plus you get a 2fer. Powerful vacuum and a pretty powerful blower.

Clearing Up Some 1 Star Reviews
I'm leaving this vacuum a five star review. I've used it on my carpeted stairs as well as outside for leaves. The vacuum did better than expected in both scenarios. I read a ton of amazon reviews on this product and it seems to get some negative feedback in terms of its reliability out of the box. People also complain a lot about the wheels falling off. I'm hoping to clear some of those reviews up. Lets get the easy one out of the way first. The casters slide onto the bottom of the chassis. Vacmaster provides screws to secure the casters on. People who are complaining about them falling off, simply did not use the screws to secure the casters into place. As for the reliability out of the box. When I first plugged in the vacuum and started it up, it worked great. After about 5 minutes it shut off. My first thought was that I got a dud unit like some of the other reviews I read. After some trouble shooting I realized the vacuum tripped a breaker. I found this odd until I realized I had plugged it into an outlet that was running off a #15 breaker. I'm assuming this was the case for most of the one star reviews the product received. I would suggest plugging this vacuum into a kitchen outlet. Most kitchen outlets are running off a #20 or higher breaker because they are meant to run appliances. Once I plugged into a kitchen outlet (#20 breaker) the thing worked like a dream. It has plenty of suction in vacuum mode and did very well in my smallish back yard as a leaf blower. That being said, you will definitely need an extension cord. Especially for me because most of the breakers in my house are #15's. I have only used the unit three times and can't attest to it's reliability over an extended time, but with a two year warranty I'm not too worried. I love all of the on-board storage for the accessories. The hose also has a locking mechanism and stays connected to the chassis with no worries. This comes in handy when you're pulling the unit around by the hose in vacuum mode. Overall, it was a good purchase in my mind and exceeds my needs. Thanks for reading and happy shopping!

Nice unit.
I needed a shop vac for some minor yard stuff and chose this one because of the detachable blower. It's a nice solid little unit. I've used the blower and it works well. All the parts are there and it's intelligently designed, the clips are solid and have a nice positive SNAP to them. Nothing is cheap on this, although it was affordable and the blower is a nice feature others didn't provide. It'll work for my needs. Like everything in man-world, I start by looking at the big beefy overkill models, but decided on this, and I'm glad - this was the right choice.

Does not work in UK
This is for the US, it is not compatible for the UK. I had to buy a separate adapter converter which cost over ยฃ100 and it still does not work unfortunately.

Extremely Well Designed
Great vacuum and extremely well designed. I like that there are places on the vacuum to store each attachment, someone was really thinking when they designed this. The conversion to leaf blower is super easy and very powerful. The suction is more then adequate for my garage projects and it has a good assortment of attachments. Overall I'm very impressed with this vacuum. The reviews I read online helped me choose this one and I am not disappointed! Highly recommend it.

Amazing value!
Amazing little powerhouse! I have a long haired dog and not only is this used to clean the outside, but I use it in my carpet and it puts my shark and cordless vacuum to rest. The suction and power blower are very strong for my needs. Great value for the price!

Thoughtful design and all functions works great.
Whoever designed this vacuum/blower combo really put some thought into it. The fact that this is a 2-in-1 Wet Dry Shop Vacuum AND Leaf Blower is awesome and reduces the need to buy and store 2 large items. It claims to be 5HP which is in the upper power range for these types of devices but I have no way to test, however both sucking and blowing functions great.. very powerful. The way the motor attaches and disengages with the base is solid and is easy to manage, the plastic is of high quality and has a slight textured finish that in comfortable provides good grip. It does not tip over easily when pulled around and the wheels work fine. I'm not going to dock a star for this, but this would be even better if ALL the attachments could be stored on the canister itself. The smaller brush end and nozzle do fit into the top of the legs, but the hose and blower wand do not. If they were to ever redesign this maybe there is a way to keep everything together.. but honestly I am really nit picking. The price was very reasonable and I can easily recommend this.. I regularly use this on my condo's patio/gardens, car detailing, and whenever I have a DIY project around the house. Unless you are a contractor/professional or have a serious shop, anything more is probably overkill.
