I’ve tried all the wheels and I can always count on the Turbos to deliver speed, roll, with the perfect combo of grip and slide. Quality urethane, hubs are strong but lighter than most alloy hubs, and they just look super professional and cool.

Im a 165lb male and i thought these wheel were being hyped up buy everyone until i got a pair and seen what the hype was about. Its the perfect balance between grip and speed. I know what your thinking 101a is to hard im going to be sliding around like crazy, your not you need the hardness for maximum speed your going to be flying with these wheels you need that little bit of slide so you dont blow out on turns im a jam skater so little bit of slide on turns is critical. This is a very fast and responsive wheel JUST GET THEM. They do need to be broken in so to speak but its like that with every wheel when its brand new. Not to mention how cool they look i dont kno how i went this long without these wheels before. Wish they maid them in different sizes like 57mm.... This is not a beginner wheel if your just starting out this is NOT for you...

They are too slick and too many imperfections.

I am a 210lbs recreational skater and these 101A Rollerbones are the best wheels I have put on my skates. I experimented with many brands and hardness since getting back into skating with my kids. These are the perfect balance of speed and control on a wood rink floor. For heavy skaters, the aluminum core does a great job in assuring a smooth roll over the life of the wheel. I skate 3-6 hours a week and get about a year of use with rotations. I just replaced my dance stops with speed skate stops to reduce braking wear, so I hope to get a couple years out of my third set I just ordered. While these wheels cost twice as much as my second favorite wheel (RollerBones Super Elite 101A), the skating experience these wheels provide is worth every penny.

I jumped from 90 to 95 hardness wheels that were way too slippery on our polished concrete track. I got these in 94 hardness and they are perfect! The right balance of grip and speed.

I drove an hour round trip to pick these up before roller derby practice tonight so I could try doing laps with them. These new RollerBones Turbo 101A wheels are AMAZEBALLS and I'm so glad I rolled the dice on them. I was concerned they would be too hard and I was going to slide around like Bambi on ice. I am happy to say I was wrong, these had the perfect mix of slide and grip, I didn't even have any issues at the apex! For you non-derby folks: the reason they are so special is they are super hard. Soft wheels grip the floor but don't move that fast. The harder they get the faster they go but the less grip they have with the floor. Skater weight has a lot to do with it as well. I'm not tiny so gravity pushes me down and makes me stick to the floor a lot more than a lighter skater. I felt like I was flying tonight. ✈ I'm so pleased with my purchase!

im Impressed with these wheels fantastic grip ,very smooth. A little expensive ,but you have to pay more for a quality product, Hope they last.
