The cleaning tablets were easy to use and cleaned the coffee machine really well. I’d definitely use them again.

Didn’t quite dissolve when dropped into the machine, but seemed to work well enough to improve the function of the machine. Like the packaging, should preserve the tablets for a while.

When it arrived thought it was a descale but it wasn't was a cleaner so tried it and did the job removed some residue. Make sure all the tanlet dissolves.

If you want to clean a Lavazza a modo mio coffee machine you would be better to buy the caffenu lavazza cleaning pods that are specifically made for that machine. Instructions from the seller on how to use these durcol cleaning tablets (as the tub of 50 does not have any instructions for use with it) are "to place a durgol cleaning tablet in the pre-ground coffee compartment and place a cup under the coffee spout. Fill the water tank with tap water, select the option for pre-ground coffee and start the program. When about half a cup of water has come out of the spout, turn off the machine for approx. five minutes to let the solution soak. Then turn the machine back on and finish the cycle." However on the Lavazza a moda mio you cannot place the tablet in the coffee pod compartment as there is no mechanism to close off the bottom of the compartment so the cleaning tablet just drops straight through. Having bought the tub of 50 I want to use them up before buying the bespoke Lavazza a moda mio cleaning pods. So I cut around about half of the plastic bottom of a spent pod, emptied the coffee grounds out, cleaned the pod, placed a crushed to powder cleaning tablet in the butchered pod, placed that pod in the pod compartment and progressed with the cleaning process as described. It seems to have worked as I got some coffee stained water out for the first couple of runs through. I have since bought the caffnu bespoke cleaning pods and they worked fine. I will continue using these separate tablets crushed in cut up used pod until used up and periodically use the caffenu bespoke pods for a

CLEANING TABLETS ONLY I don't need descaler as I live in a softer water area, however best to clean once or twice a month to prevent bacteria build up. Coffee also contains oils and cleaning means the machine functions longer. Bottle is written in German, which I understand, but some may not understand it. Tip may be to print off instructions or write on a sticky label so you know what the contents are. Brought to clean my GEEPAS coffee expresso maker. It seems fairly easy to use, just drop a tablet in water tank and I let it dissolve and then run through the machine, both the single cup and double cup functions and also the steamer pipe for milk until the water tank is empty. Then run through a second time with water only flush and repeat the 1 cup, 2 cups and steamer pipe, until water has gone from the water tank. You can easily repeat the water only flush once a week and deep clean the machine with a tablet once a month. Depends on wether you have soft or hard water and how many times you use the machine. I use mine for 2 mugs of coffee and day. I always blast the steamer pipe through to remove milk after heating milk and wipe the pipe as directed with a cloth. I wash out the coffee grind holder and clean the drip tray etc after every use and empty the water tank if water left in it. REFRE TO YOUR OWN MACHINE CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS. Good value
