Can this be rolled up for travel?

The visor cannot be detached from the headband or rolled up for travel. If packing in a carryon we recommend safely packing towards the middle of a suitcase with clothing around for padding. Also all of our Lux Shields come with a travel bag for easy carry along.

does this protect from blue light?

Yes, the shield protects you from blue light.

Has anyone actually tested this product once they got it (perhaps at the eye doctor's) to see if the UV protection is what it actually advertises?

All of our shields are tested in-house and by a 3rd party lab. They are verified UPF 50+, as well, pass all of the ANSI standards to ensure the visibility is what it should be, for a standard pair of sunglasses.
