I typically spend the $30 on the magellan brand shoes from Academy. They usually fall apart in 6 months. I wear these to work and have more support than the academy brand, I've had them for several months now and they are holding up way better than expected! They are so comfortable and stylish. My first pair was Brown and I decided I wanted them in Navy, because they are fit true to size which makes them a great shoe to purchase online. Eastlands have had a great reputation and have been a dependable shoe for many years. I also had a pair of Eastland shoes when I was a kid, now I am a grown adult and I am still happy with them. If you received them and they feel like they are a little bit snug, do not worry, they will stretch out and become the most comfortable shoe you have. Like I said, they are true to size. They are a very long wearing shoe, the brand has not changed. These shoes have far exceeded my expectations and I wear them all the time. I wear a medium width, but ordered wide due to some of the reviews. Fits perfect but doesn't feel like a wide. Feels more like a medium. So if you actually have a wide foot, then this shoe may not work for you. The length seemed true to size. I would recommend going up a half size if you plan to wear socks. A nice shoe design. I was a bit nervous about ordering these because there are so many knockoffs out there, but these seems to be good quality. I haven't worn them out yet due to the warmer season. Looking forward to cooler weather.
