Elite Montessori Bird Puzzle

This puzzle is perfect for my young daughter. As far as the quality of the product: the design is beautiful, the pieces fit together well, the paint job is great, and it seems very durable. Very happy with this purchase.

High quality wood, easy for ages 3 and up, vibrant colors. Some pieces are small so beware with younger children.

This is a very beautiful puzzle, with enough parts to make it challenging but not so many as to frustrate young children. My daughter is 2.5 and she was able to complete the puzzle with no interference. We have several of these animal puzzles but the bird is the best.

I first saw some of these puzzles at my kids' school. They mentioned the smaller pegs on the pieces were good for working on the pincer grasp (first two fingers and thumb). We have the bird, the frog, and the fish. Each of them are simple enough (about six pieces each) that my two and three year old can work them without getting frustrated. I highly recommend this for those wanting to move beyond the chunky knob puzzles and refining their skills.

I love to use these puzzles in the classroom first as a puzzle, then as a tracing activity where students compose the puzzle on a piece of paper.

Wow! That was my first impression when I opened this puzzle. Quality is excellent, wood is very smooth. My 29 month old can pick up the pegs easily. We have the bird puzzle, and I think it was a good introduction of him to this style of puzzle. I'll definitely be buying more because I think they can be multipurpose.

Un rompecabeza muy bonito y llamativo

I have two rambunctious boys - ages almost 2 yo and 4yo. I got this for my almost 2 yo who loves birds. My 4 yo immediately took the puzzle and did it with ease. My almost 2 yo gave it a try, but immediately broke one of the foot puzzle pieces. So after only 1 day of use, it's broken.
