I love it
Once you get a feel for assembling it, it becomes very easy, but at first, there was a learning curve. The same with the Rudder control it was difficult at first but amazing once you get used to it

WARNING! Defective coupling design / materials. Will break with normal use!
WARNING! Defective coupling design / materials. Will break with normal use! First off, sorry to anyone that received a recommendation for this kayak prior to its breaking. No one should pay the nearly $2,000 that I did for a two person kayak from Point 65 Sweden and expect it to break with normal use. Despite small problems with the kayak, I genuinely appreciated the fact that I could dismantle it when not in use. It was easy to store it on racks in my garage (out of the sun). Sadly, after just over two years of use, and we used it a lot, it cracked along the coupling joint. See Photos! I contacted the company and they denied any defect. Without asking for photos, they decided that it was user error that had caused the problem. Somehow, simply using the kayak is, by their definition, user error and does not qualify for any sort of service. Their proposed solution, watch a video by actionwatersports. They couldn’t be bothered to make their own video, so I guess this counts as an official corporate endorsement of their dot net? Truth is, I know how to fix a kayak. I've kayaked for over twenty years and have had occasion to repair river kayaks after collisions with rocks. Sadly, no rock here. All I can say is that I wish I had purchased a cheap, disposable kayak at the local big box store for under two hundred bucks. At least then, I wouldn't feel so disappointed. Purchased at REI, for the price I expected a useful warranty, helpful customer service and meaningful solutions. Nope on all accounts. Avoid this company at all costs! I hope this review helps you make an informed Kayak decision.

Poor performance and heavy weight
The actual weight is much greater than what the manufacturer quotes. I have weighed mine on a scale. The performance of the kayak is mediocre to poor. It is narrow and has poor lateral stability. The section construction makes it unreliable in heavy waves. The main use for this would be for someone with limited storage space (e.g. an apartment dweller...as I was when I bought it) who intends to use it in relatively protected waters without wind, chop, or waves, such as an urban protected area as is featured in their promotional videos. Don't plan on portaging this beast due to its excessive weight. Don't take this out in open water such as the ocean or large lakes like the Great Lakes.

Ci vuole sensibilità; vado a piedi nudi.
