This box is great and has enough horsepower to route and switch between the ports simultaneously and bidirectionally. However, Port 4 is not able to be saturated with traffic at 1 Gbps because the NIC chip does not have enough PCIe bandwidth. I can only push about 500Mbps with 1500-byte packets. Other than that, it’s a great product.

An sich ein sehr gutes Produkt. Leider musste ich nach 14 Monaten feststellen, dass die SSD defekt ist – das ist natürlich nicht schön :-(

I purchased this device as my third Protectli unit to run as a PFSense firewall. I was having trouble with another device but resolved those issues before needing to put this device into service so I saved it rather than returning. Two years later I needed to prepare this for service and found it was lacking RAM and storage though it claimed to be included in the description - "Protectli Vault Pro VP2410-4 Port, Firewall Micro Appliance/Mini PC - Intel Celeron J4125, DDR4 RAM, M.2 SSD Storage, AES-NI, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD " Please double check contents before using or keeping. I am now beyond the return period and had paid $573.23.
