A Christmas Classic With Lots of Extras For Holiday Fun
A fun Christmas tradition for our family! We have watched this every year. In fact I watched it the first time it was broadcast on TV back in the 1960’s. I didn’t realize how vivid and bright this cartoon was until I watched it in color—and that wasn’t until the mid 1970’s. The story is timeless and my son has been able to enjoy this edition in high resolution. We like this version because of the extras that are included. There’s commentary by the actress who voiced Cindy Lou Who, interviews with the songwriter and composer, and a special that I hadn’t seen in years that was on TNT: a feature narrated by the late SNL alumni Phil Hartman on the history of this animated classic. If that wasn’t enough, there’s two additional Grinch cartoons included: “Halloween is Grinch Night” and “The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat.”

Great package!
Somehow this isn't available freely on any streaming we have, so we paid the small amount for the Amazon rental. This one is worth every dollar. As usual the streaming was smooth and painless. This one comes not only with the original Grinch but two other specials including my deep cut favorite, Halloween is Grinch Night which is one of the weirdest children's specials you'll ever see.

この世界観、大好きです♪ 家のデッキで普通に見れますよ～。 吹き替えや字幕は、日本語はなく英語ですが、全て英語でも問題なしです！

楽しいですよ
英語教師をしています。１０年ほど前に、アメリカからのALTがこのアニメについて教えてくれました。英語がわからなくても、クリスマスのイメージが伝わります。その当時は、このALTが持っていたアメリカのテレビ放送のビデオを使用しましたが、画像も音もあまりよくありませんでした。実写版のグリンチもおもしろいですが、やはりオリジナルのこのアニメの方が素朴で好きです。昨年、クリスマス直前に注文しようとしたら、到着が遅くなりすぎて、授業に間に合わなくなってしまうため、断念しました。（昨年は、ルドルフ〜赤鼻のトナカイ〜を使いました。こちらも好評でした）今回は、今年のクリスマスシーズンの授業のために早めに購入しました。現在は支援学校に勤めていますので、知的障害のある中・高生にこのビデオを見せようと思っています。家に遊びに来た小学生（２年生）や幼稚園年長さんも、英語でしたが楽しくみていましたよ。

Einfach genial...
Wie ich einfach dje Bücher von Dr.Seuss liebe und diese beiden Animationsfilme mit den Originalreimen einfach super toll sind. Ich gucke sie persönlich lieber auf englisch weil es einfach schöner bzw auch origeneller klingt. Finde die deutsche Grinchstimmer nicht so toll. Aber es wurde versucht möglichst genau zu übersetzen und das muss man auch anerkennen. Einfach ein muss im DVD-Regal .schade dass in deutschland die Bücher nicht so verbreitet sind.
