Anova Culinary Precision Port Handheld Vacuum Sealer,BLACK

Works great with the Anova sous vide. The bags that are included can be reused. We sous vide a few times a week and have had this item for 9 months so far and it works great. We have had to clean it and charge it, but it is still sealing nicely.

I got this after a more popular alternative died (twice). This one has amazing battery life (100+ vacuum seals) and has been very reliable. Huge improvement over the other brand I tried.

We have bought two of these units. One bought in July of 23 stopped working in September of 2023. The second sealer has lasted exactly eleven months before the battery failed to keep a charge. We tried to have the internal battery changed by our local Batteries Plus outlet. However, they were unable to open the compartment. We liked the sealer, but can't recommend due to the short life of the product.

I ordered this vacuum sealer to use while we are traveling in our RV. It's a perfect size and the bags take up less room than plastic containers. Tested it on some almonds, see picture, and worked great. I especially like that the bags can be opened and resealed and are washable. I will send an updated review later after we start using it while on the road but for now is packed away.

I really love this vacuum sealer and its flexibility utilizing resealable bags. The only downside is that it didn’t last very long — about 8 months and it just stopped working. It was very effective while it worked. At least it is not exorbitantly expensive (so far) so replacing it is not bankrupting.

I love this. It’s quick and easy. In response to the other reviews, if it doesn’t make a vacuum in your bag, the bag isn’t fully sealed at the top. The zip tops in the bag are heavy duty and it takes a little attention to fully sealed them.

Purchased this item in May 2024, and it stopped working in October. While it lasted, it worked well. If you decide to buy it, consider it a disposable purchase.

I want to love this, it's an elegant design... but it is GIGANTIC. It looks like it should fit neatly into the palm of my hand and tuck into a drawer, but it is unnecessarily large. And who includes a USB charger cable without a wall plug!? Like we'll plug it into a laptop to charge? I don't keep one in the kitchen, do you? Bizarre. Seems to work fine, if you finesse it a little bit, but disappointed in the aesthetics and usability. Returning it for the less expensive and much smaller Foodsaver model.
