Review: ego Power+ LT1000 Portable Area Light I have a few ego batteries from their other products that I used with this light. - typical ego construction quality using their regular materials - lights up my garage very well - multiple brightness levels with the boost one being very bright - can turn certain panels on and off in a generic preset configuration saving in battery life by running fewer at a time Cons: - doesn't seem to use aluminum heat sinks on the back of the LEDs (all plastic construction) which would be bad for long run times (maybe aluminum heat sinks are under the plastic housing but dont see heat vents?)

**Q: The ads say that there are 5 brightness, why can I only adjust 4?**
A: The full brightness needs to press the + for seconds

**Q: Can it be plugged in with an extension cord?**
A: No

**Q: Is it safe outside in the rain or snow?**
A: I wouldn't let it get wet as the battery is not housed in water proof casing so there is no way to protect it from water ingress which could damage the battery,also the terminals on the light itself could be damaged by rain or snow im guessing,from what I can see it doesn't come with any IP rating so I presume its not meant to get wet,you can use outside no problem just don't let it get wet i would say

ego Power+ LT1000 Portable Area Light I have a few ego batteries from their other products that I used with this light. - typical ego construction quality using their regular materials - lights up my garage very well - multiple brightness levels with the boost one being very bright - can turn certain panels on and off in a generic preset configuration saving in battery life by running fewer at a time Cons: - doesn't seem to use aluminum heat sinks on the back of the LEDs (all plastic construction) which would be bad for long run times (maybe aluminum heat sinks are under the plastic housing but dont see heat vents?)

I have absolutely loved this light. I have used it int he backyard/driveway, camping, and hunting. I love I can quickly swap the eco batteries. I can even charge devices off of this. It's a great size and emits so much light. This was a great buy for the price. So easy to use, hook up the battery and let there be light.
