Deluxe Multipurpose Stainless Steel Kitchen Shears with Built-In Bottle Opener, For Left and Right Handed Users, Resists Rust, Stains, and Pitting, Kitchen Scissors

This is the 3rd pair of these kitchen shears I’ve purchased over the years. They work great! I use them daily for multiple tasks in the kitchen. I like having 2 pairs at home and 1 at our camper. They are heavy duty but not so heavy in weight to make them cumbersome to use with small hands. I use them to cut open meat packages. They are awesome for cutting bacon into smaller pieces before frying for salads and casseroles. Also for trimming fat from cuts of meat. They come apart and back together easily for cleaning. I put mine in the dishwasher and have never had any discoloration rusting. I looked back and my last pair I purchased in 2022, they were getting dull so I ordered this new pair. I Will keep the older pair as my spare and sharpen them with my recently purchased sharpener with a scissor slot.

I love that these come apart and can go in the dishwasher. I use them regularly, as do my children, and they have not dulled yet. Very comfortable to use. I originally purchased these because they come apart to wash, all of the different uses have come in handy. I have purchased them for my son and DIL, and they both use and love it. He will cut meat and other foods for prep with them, and she uses them like a normal person. LOL. She, like me, loves that they are dishwasher safe for all he does with them.

Had one before that came with set and it broke in a very weird place. No problems at all.

I love these scissors. I had a pair for years and I lost them. I looked everywhere. But couldn’t find them. So I ordered another pair. These scissors are great. They r very versatile. I use them for everything from cutting flowers to cutting pizza. They work great for all that and everything in between. In the meantime I found the pair I lost so now have 2. That’s just fine by me.

Update 12/922019 My husband is the chef in the family and loves how these come apart for cleaning, they have never come apart while using for him. I’ve used them a bit as well and they don’t come apart. Maybe when I first tried them I was opening up my hands too wide. Anyway, happy with them now, changing from 2 to 5 stars Original review 9/5/2019 Have a pair of Chicago Cutlery scissors that are 2.5 years old and after sharpening numerous times, they are still dull and a frustration to use. I reached out to the company, hoping a warranty would lead to replacement but they said since it's not "defective" I should just go get them sharpened. Decided to just get a new pair instead of constantly sharpening the scissors we have, and was so excited to try them. Put them in my hand and gave them a go, and they fell apart! They come apart easy for cleaning, which I suppose is fine, but this limits the range of motion. I added a photo showing the widest you can open them before they come apart. Sure maybe you won't need to open them that wide to cut something, but I find when I reset the scissors in my hand I naturally open them to get ready to cut, and these fall apart on me. They seem high quality, sharp, and I love that they are serrated. Not sure I will be able to use them since they keep coming apart on me! Am I missing a snap off cover?

I bought many of these and used the plastic thing i comes in as a wall holder so I can always find them in every room of our house. I use these for so many things. I love the little spot that allows me to chop plant stems easily and cleanly. I love that they separate for dishwasher use. I love that they are sharp blades and the other end is easy on my hands. I love that they have a built in bottle opener. We are giant fans of these scissors!

Great price and quality! I have now ordered 4 extra ones for me, and one for my daughter. A friend of mine just bought a pair for himself too after using mine. I use one in the bathroom to cut tags off of clothing and open plastic packages of things like flossers ( cut ravelings on clothing too); one for gardening to cut swiss chard and broccoli, etc. ; one as my kitchen shears; one in my desk if I need to cut paper; oh and one with my wrapping paper supplies. Just replaced the original one I bought with my set of kitchen knives of the same brand about 15 years ago. I love how they come apart to clean them. Excellent product! Truly a great buy...good for opening jars too. Best scissors out there for the price in my opinion. You won't be disappointed. My daughter got her pair from me as a stocking stuffer for her own house. Think I'm going to buy a pair for my 10 yr old grandson next!

They come apart if you open them like the pair that came with my knives did. Exactly what I was looking for.

These were exactly like my old pair that was in my knife block, great purchase!

Handles on the old, old ones cracked. Perfect replacement, same brand. Work great!
