Review: Its Magic! (updated) Correction! - This device has been one of the easiest to use. Just plug on the receiver, plug in the transmitter, and that's it. I have installed two of these, one is 15 feet from the transmitter, and the other is 35 feet from the transmitter and they both work without any problems. Affordable, reliable, and easy to install and use. 100% recommended!!! REVIEW UPDATE!!!!! See the latest in the Correction... I bought 3 of these, 2 stop working. 1 died at the middle of September, and the other at the beginning of October. I am waiting to see how long the last one lasts. :( Very sad, I was extremely happy with these but they didn't survive the year. CORRECTION!!! All 3 devices are working fine, the problem was a splitter I was using. Apologies to the vendor and my review goes back to 5 stars. Also, I recommended this to my job and they bought a couple of them, and all are working fine.
Review: Stopped working after a week. - I bought this transmitter at the beginning of March, and got it on the 8th. Hooked it up to transmit my work computer to a 24 inch TV I got and it immediately fired up! Easy to install and everything. Then after one week, it stopped either transmitting or receiving the image from the computer. I reset, re-paired, and even left the products disconnected over the weekend and tried again. All I get is the instructions screen from the receiver and that's it. No pairing message, no not connected message, nothing. Tried reaching out to the company through the website and the email provided on the instructions, the email came back to me saying the email doesn't exist. I can't say it's a waste of money, cause it was great when it worked, then it stopped working. Definitely gonna ask for a refund if I'm not to late. UPDATE: I was contacted by one of their reps about the issue. They informed me the transmitter is only meant to be run 4-5 hours. I work 10-13 hour days 5 days a week. They did offer me a brand new set at no cost and after learning it's limitations they suggested I buy a second transmitter and switch them out after so often. As a mechanic I can't take 10 minutes away from my time to switch a transmitter and reconnect the devices. That's not fair to the customers I'm servicing. So if you plan on using this to show some kind of long Livestream or you work long hours like I do, I'd suggest a different, and stronger product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can’t get pass the setup screen?**
A: Dear customer, please try to repair them by the following steps:
-long press the receiver’s middle button for 3-5 seconds, till the screen shows "release the button"
-long press the transmitter’s middle button for 5-8 seconds, till the indicator light is quick flashing
-wait 5 seconds for auto sync (no need to click any button)
If you have tried, but no work, please contact our email: support@aimibo.tv

**Q: Is this compatible with Xbox? I dont see it in the list of devices.**
A: Dear customer, yes, this wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver is compatible with Xbox, but we don't recommend using it in the games. As the wireless item will have a little latency in gaming.

**Q: Transmitter gets hot but is this normal?**
A: Hi customer, did you plug a USB cable for transmitter? The TX will get a little bit hot while using. But that's the normal condition. All of our items had passed the CE, Ul, RoHS safety certification.

**Q: How do I get this to transmit 4k? I set everything up but its only working up to 1080. I purchased this because it states it is 4k.**
A: This HDMI set is already a great value, and I am able to watch 4K videos using the receiver. However, when using the set to transmit from the transmitter to the receiver, the highest resolution only reaches 1080p. I have also not seen any HDMI kits on the market that fully support 4K.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1 in my 3, needed replacement. Amz-Rplcmnt was same-Day!
*by C***K on May 12, 2024*

I did have an issue with ONE of the 3 units i purchased. I used amazons 'replacement' method, and the SAME DAY i shipped the defective (won't pair) Blue unit back i also received the Replacement Blue, which worked fine. :) I ordered a unit of each color to keep track of these in my home. Red, Grey, and Blue. Red and Green came in and worked great from the start, pre-paired, awesome! The Blue one would just Blink-and-blink-forever, because the receiver would not pair to anything new until it got replaced. These receivers Language defaults to English, Awesome! Screen transmission delay.. well somewhere around 120ms. (or in layman's terms 0.12 second. ). This is FINE for turn based games, or watching tv/movies/youtube. The max resolution I've been able to set these to is 1920x1080 on my ultrawide OLED screen (which itself has no more then a 1ms delay (or 0.001 second delay). On LCD and other screen types, you will start to FEEL the delay substantially if your playing action games or racing, fighting, sport games. For people needing your 90fps+ for call of duty, from a wireless hdmi transmission, your going to be disappointed even if you -get- your fps up to 90+.. because you will feel like there is input delay... its really Output delay as the visual feedback is 'late'... I however bought 3 of these, because i need them to look in on 2 server machines in the basement, without running wires up from the floor. And a steam deck, for turn-based games when im on the go at hotels. These things are pricey, but awesome for my use-case. Don't buy these if you're a FPS gamer, and you'll stay happy. I recommend these to Everyone else.
