A nifty gadget
Eating corn on the cob is not at all good for my dental work, so lately Iโve had to remove it from the cob. I never knew that a gadget like this existed until I happen to run across it on Amazon. Itโs a pretty nifty gadget and makes it much easier to get the corn off the cob. I liked it so much I bought two!

good device to peel corn
Had a tough time getting use to how to use. after a couple times it was a piece of cake. seems a little cheap built but still works great. makes peeling corn easier

Great tool for canning
Works great. It does take some getting used to. Cut myself once. Once you get the hang of it they are a timesaver

Broke before I tried it
The spot weld on the product that holds the blade broke before I could use it. We managed to use it to at least cut the corn off the cob. Unfortunately, when I tried to return it they wanted BOTH items returned in order to get a replacement otherwise I would be charged for another two. I gave the other one away as a gift so there was no way to return both items without getting charged for a whole other set. Disappointed.

Actually is fun to use
First time using this tool, I cleaned 10 ears of corn in two minutes. Easy, cuts corn clean, to the cob. Amazed how nice this tool works. Putting fresh farm corn away in freezer, will be a breeze. It takes longer to shuck the corn than actually cutting the corn.

Product was fine, just not for me.
This was my first summer to freeze corn. I was hopeful this gadget would work well. I gave it a good try but I found my serrated knife was easier for me.

As a home consignment store owner and author of Marianne's Consignment Confessions (blog), I litterally see thousands of gadgets coming through the store every year. I know a good one when I see it and this one is it! Wish I could find it on consignment, LOL, but at this price point ($8.99 for TWO!) I am thrilled to buy it on Amazon. Kept one and gave one to my neighbor, who loves it too!
