I picked the Platinum Pail, liking the white color and thinking the metal would be less likely to absorb odors. Quite a bit larger than the 4” on the original model. I went to the store to measure. **Q: It looks hard and cumbersome to put a replacement bag in it. Is it?** A: Here are the instructions to change the refill. 1. Remove plastic tab on refill to access the bag and pull out a few inches. 2. Turn pail upside down. 3. Open the door and insert the refill with bag facing the inside of he pail. The refill will sit at a 45 degree angle. 4. Secure door shut and turn pail upright. 5. Push button to open top. 6. Press upwards on tab below handle and pull out completely. 7. Lift the flap and reach into the pail. Pull bag upwards from the bottom of the pail. 8. Push flap down and attach bag over four side hooks. Bag must cover the flap. 9. Push handle back in place. 10.
