This kit worked great for a DIY LIKE ME. Fit a 15 year old pressure cooker that’s working far better than the recent past . Seals tighter. Cooker reaches full pressure much sooner!

The sealing rings worked but the little metal piece was a little off for my instant pot. The parts look the same but somehow they were not identical and I could not close the lid with the new piece. Reinstalled the old part and works fine.

I repeatedly lost the pin to my easy pot cooker. I found out the company was defunct and thought I’d have to throw it out until I found these…they worked like a charm!

Let me be clear, the valve works, it will pressurize your intapot lux, but it requires some manual labor. The top of the value is just millimeters too tall , when the pot is unpressurized, and gets caught on the safety mechanism that keeps the insta pot from opeining when the float valve is up. I get around this, when the pot is unpressurized, by using a small tool to lift the safety mechanism up a little to clear the valve. This works fine enough that I don't mind fighting with it a bit. It isn't convenient. Secondly, the valve does not go up and create a seal on the lid when the Instapot begins to heat up. Steam is released through the valve and the pot never gains pressure. I do have a work around by using a tool to lift up the valve once steam is coming out and holding it up until pressure in the pot has increased enough to hold the valve up. This valve works. Not well, not conveniently, but if you don't want to spend a bunch of bucks on a Instapot replacement, this will work. Just keep a small tool on hand to move the valve and saftey mechanism around.

The gaskets both fit, but the float valve is different from the on in the six-quart lux v3. It’s around the same size, but when you look closely they have slightly different dimensions on the details (hole, rim), and when I put in the new one I couldn’t close the lid anymore.
