Reusable Gallon Vacuum Zipper Bags

I’ve been using FoodSaver reusable vacuum zipper bags for years, so I came into this latest version already expecting a solid product. What I didn’t expect was how much of an improvement the redesigned valve would make — and it truly feels like a game changer. Previous versions worked well, but sealing required a bit of juggling. You often had to hold the suction attachment in place and keep pressing on the valve to maintain a proper seal during vacuuming. With this upgraded design, that extra effort is gone. The new valve features a wider surface around the opening that creates a secure seal between the bag and the vacuum device. Once connected, it stays in place on its own, allowing you to let go and simply let the machine do its job. That may sound like a small change, but in everyday use it makes the entire process smoother, faster, and much more convenient — especially when sealing multiple bags. Beyond the improved valve, the bags maintain everything I’ve always appreciated about FoodSaver products. They feel durable and well-made, are easy to clean and reuse, and the BPA-free, microwave-safe design adds versatility for real kitchen use. They hold a strong seal and remain reliably leakproof. Overall, this is a thoughtful upgrade to an already good product. If you’ve used earlier versions of FoodSaver reusable bags, you’ll immediately notice the difference. These work great. I bought them mostly to help keep blocks of cheese stay fresh longer, without having to churn through the custom sized bag rolls. Regular ziplocs help, but being able to get out the air means the cheese is lasting much longer without mold.

I've been using vacuum sealed bags for more than a decade. As a chef I used restaurant grade bags from a well known manufacturer that were not marketed commercially. They discontinued these bags. Fortunately, I had a large inventory. I finally ran out of the quart size bags and thought I was out of luck. I happened to see these from FoodSaver and decided to try them. They are vastly superior to the ones I have been using. My hand-held vacuum pump works perfectly with them. The bags seal in just a few seconds. My old bags took 30-45 seconds to seal. The FoodSaver bags remove all the air and I would say this is a restaurant grade vacuum. I highly recommend these bags and its nice to know that FoodSaver will be around for a long time.

These are made well and have nice soft sealing strips (not exactly zippers). But they permanently deform when touched too hard and cause sealing issues. Flip the zipper section out for loading 3D filament

These bags have saved my mine! So easy to use. I love the little gadget that comes in every box it makes sure your bag is all the way closed before you seal it for sure. I could not find them in the store so I ordered here. Reusable and price is reasonable as well. These freeze without losing the seal.

I originally bought these bags because we always buy 5lb bags of cheese from sams club and they go bad way faster than we can get them used. So we needed a way to seperate and freeze. After trying and loving them! Im def buying more to store my garden produce. Love that they are reusable all my bags sealed very nicely. They seem pretty thick and the size perfect to portion smaller quantities. The quality overall seems good and they have been in the freezer a few days and seem to be holding up just fine.

Initially I was having issues with the bag leaking after being sealed. After a couple failures I realized I just needed to take my time sealing and ensure both sides are lined up and tightly sealed; not a fault of the bag, but worth mentioning for those that may have the same issue. I regularly use the bags to store chopped onions and garlic in the freezer. After a few months of infrequent use (opened once or twice a week), the seal separated entirety when I tried to open the bag. I assumed it was a one-off and an issue with how I opened the bag, until the second bag's seal had the same issue shortly after. It appears to be a manufacturing quality issue or may be unique to use in a freezer. They may not have been inteded to last over a few months, but at the price point and noted as reusable I had higher expectations. Overall a descent product, but not worth rebuying until the faulty seal issue is resolved.

Sadly they don't keep their vacuum, and must be filled nearly everyday to avoid freezer burns I thought they are better than the older generation but Sadly they are not

Son de precio mas elevado que las sin marca, pero son de un plástico fuerte de modo que duran muchísimo. Son aptas para meter a descongelar en el microondas estando abierta. Casi eternas.

Se puede utilizar con otras marcas. Esta yo tenía y me funcionó perfecto! El abacate tiene 2 días en el refri y está perfecto! Utilizo solo en en refri para mi día a día. Pienso que voy ocupar más y solo utilizar estas bolsas! Prove para frutas picadas también súper cierto! Por ahora muy feliz!

Great product, I use these bags every day, especially for leftovers. Easy to wash and reuse.
