Hi All, Our family is a movie freak family...we always wanted one projector to bring the big screen home. While searching for a projector we came across WiMiUS K7 550....This projector is one of the best projector we have ever used, so definitely would like to add some more details and feedback on this product. I hope it will be helpful for you all. 1. We bought this projector and are truly satisfied with the purchase. It has excellent features and extremely user friendly. The picture quality is so clear and great. 2. 1080 picture quality is great for this price point. The brightness is quite good at over 500 ANSI and the contrast is also great at 1:20000 3. Bluetooth capabilities. The only cable you have to use is the power cable. With our previous projector we had to run a power cord, an HDMI cable from the video source to the sound bar, and HDMI cable from the sound bar to the projector. It would take me nearly 30 minutes each time I wanted to do a movie in the backyard. I imagine that as the weather start to warm up and we start to do movie nights again this summer that my setup time will be next to nothing. This is a great feature to this new projector. 4. HDMI. The back of the projector does allow you to plug in two HDMI cables. Please note that both of them are input ports. 5. Projector worked well with crystal clear pictures and great sound. Didn't feel like putting an external speaker. It's only 15 days, I used this projector and happy with the performance 6. It comes with a great, foam padded, travel bag, with room for accessories. And it comes with some accessories, and room for more such as longer HDMI cables and audio cables. 7. Easy to connect on Wi-Fi. Very quickly able to mirror my iPhone, screen mirror feature works seamlessly. Overall set up process is very easy. The menus and setup options have more items and easier operation. The presentation of the options is more logical and easier to use. 8. Sound quality is good too. Though you may need external sound system if wat to enjoy rear sound effect for HD sound. 9. As of now there is no complain about this product and a MUST purchase for all, value for money. and as the name in itself says "WE ME AND US" (pun intended) it's really a projector for all to sit back relax and enjoy!!

I owned Optoma HD26 bought from Amazon since last 4years so something to compare with this Wimus K7. I was skeptical about LED light brightness, contrast and quality but this K7 is stunning. I waited for last one week to try K7 myself before writing this review. Bought K7 at $130 Vs Optoma at $500+. Brightness better than Optoma HD26 which claims to be 3400Lumens while K7 claims 550 ANSI. Setup quite easy. I use TV stick to get prime, YouTube, Netflix etc. fan noise not audible with high volume and also little quieter than Optoma. Sound louder and can fill the room but I use Bluetooth sound bar for better sound quality. Contrast excellent too and blacks are good on K7. No Auto focus but I rarely change focus when move from room to room. It says Auto Keystone but didn’t see it working. Not a big deal. What I found is using focus wheel and keystone wheel to adjust focus sharpness on the screen in all corners. Videos are stunning when both are adjusted for corner to corner quality. The text is visibly sharp in top left and bottom right corner when you adjust both. The video pasted here is taken from iPhone and projection of more than 150 feet of display is on the light grey violet wall. I have tried 200 feet display on the wall and picture still stunning. With some room light. In my opinion K7 looked same as Optoma with bit of daylight. But in dark or room light this k7 brightness and colors are brilliant. Build quality of projector is smooth, solid and good. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. Size smaller than Optoma. K7 lamp life claims to be 100,000 hours while Optoma I had to replace bulbs 2 times after 4 years. Hopefully K7 goes long. I read and researched almost all projectors reviews. I would recommend this. What else u need for sub $170 price with this amazing quality.

Pros: Good picture quality and brightness at $200. Lots of features. Easy to setup. Cons: Fan is a bit louder. Video has a half a second lag, Audio comes early in wired mode… usually it is the other way.. I guess this is to compensate for audio lag with Bluetooth but seems needs more work to get it perfect. Biggest issue is that … Within 3 hrs of watching some black and white dots appeared on the screen.. see attached pics. Contacted the seller and they suggested to use cleaning kit… Update: For cleaning had to open one screw, however after cleaning ot became worse, the original dots were shifted and new dots appeared. I think there is a major design flaw in the filter area —- there are too many openings un covered allowing dust to bypass see pictures. Update: Seller suggested to go with replacement from Amazon, now I got a newer One and no more white or black dots. Lesson learned keep room and surface clean before opening the box. I think sooner or later dots will appear and will need cleaning.
