Naturevibe Botanicals Beet Root Powder (5lbs) Raw & Non-GMO | Bulk Bag (80 Ounces) [Packaging May Vary]

Is everything I expected it to be. Pastel earthy pink color. Tastes like beets. It came in a resealable mylar bag, though I immediately transferred into vacuum-sealed Mason jars for long term storage. BTW, when pouring this powder from container to container, mind the dust! It is an extremely fine powder, like talc, that billows everywhere and coats everything!

I am pleasantly surprised with this beetroot powder. I was able to add it to my coffee(just a teaspoon) and was very happy that it blended well and did not detract from the flavor. Gave it a nice pink hue,too. I also add a sprinkle of cinnamon to my coffee, so take that into consideration. I bought it to give it to my dog to help with circulation and blood pressure. I hope we all benefit! Just one note...whoever does the spell-check or translation should look at the description on the back of the bag. I think the word “mold” was supposed to be “bold”...just my guess. It doesn’t put me off, though. Product seems to be good quality and I’m happy I was not put off by some of the poor reviews.

I’ve been using this particular beet root powder for sometime and -loved-it…but not sure anymore. I tried contacting manufacture ( located in NJ ) …but no reply..and when you go on there actual sight no number and the email link doesn’t work…I finally contacted them using their Instagram account. The reason…the ingredients look and taste different now. I should know…I’ve been using it for over a year…this batch….both bags contained a browner reddish powder ( no biggie right…it’s organic ..sure ) …it use to be a deep vibrate red….it’s the taste…it taste metallic…it’s hard to explain but all the other batches over the years have had an earth taste…these have a strange taste. This is why I tried to contact them in the first place to ask. I do not do bad reviews but in this case..the product has changed…taste extremely different …ie off and no customer service. Now not sure what to do with this…I literly just stocked up….I had tried a different brand when this products wasn’t available…most likely going back to it…if they ever do decide to contact me I’ll update this review… UPDATE: the company has been in contact with me through email. They replied fairly quickly ( which in my book is great ). My question was the color seem to have changed since my other times with this product ( it’s organic so things can change- less concern about that ) but more a concern / question regarding taste ( metallic taste ). They have assured me that they have never had this issue ( I directed them to other Amazon reviews ) and suggested that every once in a while a company can have a quality control issue and things happen. I’m not into bashing companies…I run a company myself …it’s more of a -FYI things may have changed - . Although my star review wasn’t the best…I’ll keep an open mind for now and give this product one more shot because they did respond back quickly with concern. My original star rating was 1…I’m upping it now..but I am still not 100% sold on the change in taste. SEC UPDATE: The company has been in contact with me and is looking into other reviews and concerns and has since been responding back fairly quickly. I’m now upping my rating to 4 stars. I’m open to giving this brand another shot. Before this the product was alway great.

The second delivery was good, the powder is ground to a fine consistency and is bright red, no clots in the bag, poured easily into a smaller container for daily use, the product tastes OK mixed with apple juice, can't wait to try it mixed into my morning coffee/cinnamon/chocolate oatmeal. The first delivery had to be returned.....the vendor sent a 5 lb bag of calcium chloride (!) instead of the beet powder, but the second delivery happened 2 days after the first, so, not much of a delay. UPDATE: Second time ordering, first delivery was CITRIC ACID (!), not beet powder, credit received from Amazon, replacement order delivery (next day) was beet powder, but mylar bag has a hole in the bottom, so I'll need to find a new container(s) for the powder. GOOD PRODUCT, but delivery and packaging need work.

The beet root must have been harvested ad dryed and ground up with all the earth it came out of the ground. It tasts like earth and is very gritty. It does not taste like beet root at all. I believe it is not eadable.It tastes terrible. Most important I noticed that it does not give the benefits that good beet root gives. This is some kind of waste product.

Great taste easy to mix

Husband mixes a drink with this and some other things. I don’t know what it taste like but he seems to love it! Love the fact it came in 5lb bag. He uses it daily and sometimes more.

I still have this, bought it in 2023. About halfway through the bag. This shows you that it’s not that it is bad, it’s more like it’s just not good enough to drink. Going to use the rest for such things as baking brownies (adding a 3rd ingredient to the divided eggs and chocolate only, recipe). Waste not, want not.

Taste is very good, but I wish it were cheaper!
