It’s a good quality charger in this way you don’t have to use AAA batteries
Works well, it takes quite a while to charge. Oddly, the color of lights are hard to get used to. Charging is usually read, but in this case red means hooked up wrong. Charging is a blue color and green is when it’s charged after you get used to it. It’s not bad.

For use with Black Diamond headlamp
Works like it's supposed to, comes with a charger. The cable it comes with is REALLY short, about 4 inches if you don't include the 2 plugs on the ends, so if it's not used at a charger that's right on the floor or at table height, it will just dangle. That said, it isn't too heavy, so it can hang without affecting charging. Has lasted a good about of time on my Spot headlamp on low setting. Only thing I would wish for would be to be able to charge it without removing it from the headlamp. Solid product, a good buy.

Always good to have a backup battery…
Always good to have a backup battery for your headlamp as you never know when you’ll need it. Easy-peasy to charge and battery life is great. This is not your old alkaline headlamp battery, this battery is the real deal even in freezing and below temperatures.

Excellent Piece of Gear
While it takes longer to charge than I anticipated, it holds one very well, too. I fell asleep with my Cosmo on and when I woke up several hours later, still just as bright. The blue light that indicates it’s charging is a little bright.

The Battery I Thought Would never die..
This is an essential upgrade to your Black Diamond compatible headlamp! It lasts substantially longer than just using AAA batteries and weighs less, I've compared them. It takes roughly 3-4 hours to charge, but it lasts roughly 3 months with heavy & intermittent use (at least it has for me)! I kept wondering if I was ever going to run it down! I liked it so well that I bought a second one to have as a backup.
