Delivery has been a nightmare! *by L***D on September 29, 2023* Well delivery is terrible; One arrived broken, the second got lost in shipment. Amazon eventually got me a replacement but it took over a month. The broken one (bad expansion slot) is being replaced by APC (these units cannot be returned to Amazon because of the batteries). On the bright side, APC's customer service is good if a bit slow sometimes. If I considered delivery in my rating, this would be a one star review. But that would be a disservice to the product.The good (the SRT1500xla is awesome):-Huge capacity. Powers my workstation, monitors, switch, entertainment center and more for 1h+.-Pristine power. On line power or battery, the SRT is always generating perfect sine wave power.-HID compliant. Just plug it in to your Windows or most Linux systems and PO shutdowns are automatic.-Optional network cards for remote administration available. Not as happy with these but that's a different review ...The bad:-Expensive. But so is replacing your electronics and rebuilding your cyber-life from scratch.-HEAVY!! Lift with your knees. Better yet get someone else to move it!-A little noisy. Because the SRT is active all the time, it has some fan noise. ### ⭐ Appears to be used *by J***S on September 18, 2024* I have received new ones of these units and they come with a metal cover plate over the LCD. This one did not have that and the power cord was tied up with a sharp zip tie. They normally come with a large twist tie.
