Minnetonka Women's Chrissy Slipper Bootie

I ordered this slipper AND the Minnetonka Alpine Sheepskin Moccasin because I needed to understand what the real difference was....and now I do! This slipper is fine, the Alps is fabulous. I had the basic moccasin slipper for years and finally got fed up with the majority of my foot being cold. While Chrissy covers more of the top of your foot - see my photo- the Alpine is real shearling and feels like heaven. I couldn't go back. For $10 more the Alpine offers a sturdier sole, richer color, better tie and plush interior. it was no contest for me but again the Chrissy is just fine and feels like it has a teeny but more cushioning in the sole.

I try not to buy things that are manufactured in China. Some how I messed up and bought these. I have no complaints about the slippers. I did not realize Minnatonka was manufactured there. While I'm not displeased at all with the slippers themselves, I will not buy them again. For me, they fit true to size, and there are no defects. They appear to be nicely sewn together. I'm just not going to support companies that outsource to China and other countries. There are too many people in the USA looking for work.

This is the third pair of these slippers I've purchased. The first pair; I wore every day for over a year before replacing (it was more how bad they looked than anything being wrong with them, I wear them outside too!) them. The second pair lasted less than 6 weeks and the top seam split. However, I was given an immediate refund, with no hassle. I realize that sometimes a product can be defective; no big deal. So, I ordered another pair and expect the same (wonderful) comfortable, long lasting slipper as my first pair. These are the best slippers around. You can find cheaper ones, but they won't be of the same quality and I'd be willing to bet you won't get the awesome customer service. Spend a little more and get a lot more, you won't be sorry.mama r

I go through a lot of these because my dogs tend to find them and use the as chews. The fit is extremely inconsistent. Each pair I purchase is always made a little cheaper than the last. On these the tongue is very short, you cannot just slip these on, I have to hold the tongue and pull on it . The tongue is narrower and shorter than the last pair I had. This causes the tongue to curl and cut into my feet. The leather ties just break off, in another week, they will be too short to tie rendering them useless. How can leather break? This is my last pair of Minnetonkas very disappointed with this company. But at least they are maximizing their profit by continuing to skimp.

As in the past, Minnetonka puts out an excellent product. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe size so I went with the 8. At first the left foot felt a little snug, but after wearing them for one day with bulky socks, the slippers just molded to my feet. By the second day it was like putting on my old broken in slippers. Very comfy with or without socks. The workmanship is excellent. Theses slippers were made to last a long time! Would definitely recommend. Priced right.

These were the worst slippers I have ever had. The slippers fit snugly even though I ordered my standard shoe size (7.5). The left slipper burst at the toe seam on my left foot. There could be no repair of the hole. Since I had only worn the slippers a couple of times, I was resigned to using the slippers hole or not. The right slipper was a little loose, so I tried to tighten the lace. The lace broke two times to the point where there is not enough lace to tighten anymore. I gave in and ordered a different style and brand slipper to replace my barely worn but terribly made Christmas slippers. I will never order the Minnetonka brand again.

I gave 4 pairs for gifts and they were a HUGE HIT. I've been told nothing but wonderful things from the people I bought these for. I've also had a pair of Minnetonkas before and they lasted years in the Wisconsin winters and wore them as shoes, slippers, in the snow anything you can imagine. The rubber bottom keeps your feet safe and comfortable. These are a can't miss either for yourself or as a gift.

I bought this for myself as a Christmas gift; I like the way they look, and they're generally fairly comfortable.However, they have very poor quality, and quickly fall apart!The rawhide straps are extremely brittle and fragile, one completely came apart in one shoe, the other simply fell off.Do not waste your money.

Ich kenne den Produzenten Minnetonka schon lange - auch dieses Produkt erfüllt voll meine Erwartungen.Die angegebene Größe entspricht meiner deutschen Größe. Wunderbar weiches Leder, reines Naturprodukt durch Lammfell, genießen die Füße kuschliges Wohlbefinden.Sehr schön finde ich, das die Sohle nicht aus Leder besteht, sondern eine richtige Kunststoffsohle hat, die man bei Bedarf auch säubern kann und mit der man nicht rutscht.

They fit me perfectly and so cute! I wear them at work in my classroom to keep me warm and comfortable!

Love these!! Sear the constantly. The ties broke though. Thus the 4 star. I have had them probably 8 months. I just put another lace strig through. Super comfortable.
