I love this little thing. I wanted a small portable player so I could gradually work my way through a pretty large DVD collection that has been gathering some dust. Originally I bought one with a 12 inch screen but that developed a fault and I had to start looking again. I took a risk and went for this quite tiny thing that is really aimed at children. The size turns out to be a big bonus because the player has a footprint about as big as an average paperback book and so can be put down anywhere, perched on the arm of a chair etc, without really getting in the way of anything else. Picture quality is good, and certainly good enough unless you're very serious about these things. Plenty loud enough; I use it mostly with headphones which works particularly well. UPDATE/HOT TIP: Use the remote control! The buttons and switches on the player itself allow you to perform all the basic functions without the remote, giving the impression you don’t need it. But I discovered that some of my DVDs wouldn’t play properly on this machine if I used the buttons on the player but would play fine if I used the remote.

I just love the freedom to watch movies anywhere without harmful wi_fi. The overall screen size may be small but we all naturally tend to bring players closer. Movies made for cinematic panoramic screens is seen as panoramic too. however I have watched many films on this Yoton player & 99% are full screen. I found the cinematic view not detracting at all, & fully enjoyed the movie. I checked out (tested) many videos, CDs (data & music), DVDs, SD, SDHD cards, & many Memory Sticks etc. all types work perfectly. Be it 8G, 32G, 164G, 256G etc even tried the older readers V.2 and current V. 3 all work. However, I cannot recall if it was the 2G SD cards did or did not. I will update when I find my box & test them again. Super simple to use. A huge plus is that even when switched off we can still open/close video compartment, to take out video w/o switching player on/off. It comes with a remote control and cables to hook up to larger viewing area ie, TV, but the button commands on player so easy to use I have not bothered using remote. It's a great buy, and so pleased with player I purchased a second one as gift for my sister at Xmas. So YES, very happy to recommend product. Customer Service is superb, they care too, unlike many fly-by-night companies around. No am no affiliate or paid for my honest review. In all, a super great player, not noisy, easy to use, swivel screen you can view movies/other closer to you. They have in fact thought about everything the consumer would need. Not often you can say that about products.

So, the screen isn't the greatest don't expect a ultra 4k panel, the sound isn't the loudest at full volume and you can hear the dvd spinning when it's on. However, with the negatives in mind, consider this. For what it is, a basic, cheap portable DVD player. With that in mind, for the money, you can't go wrong, the actual build quality feels surprisingly good, it's not the worst screen of all time and the sound quality is reasonable.

I love this little DVD Player. It's great that it doesn't need to be plugged in. It has a earphone socket which suits me as i can go into my own little world and watch all my Christmas movies without disturbing anyone. The screen size is fine and clear and the sound is good. The remote control is handy but it does need 2 x AAA batteries (not included). Would highly recommend this Yoton DVD Player.

The sound is decent and the display is vibrant with good colour quality. It makes a bit of noise when running, but that's to be expected in such a small model. Takes a little while to charge, but then it lasts ages. The size means it would be great for long flights, car journeys etc. I recently stayed in a caravan with no wi-fi and a broken television, so this little guy saved the day! The one thing I'd say is that, when mine arrived, it turned out to be faulty (wouldn't even turn on). However, after sending an email and getting a very quick response from customer services, they happily sent me a new one free of charge and it works perfectly. Great value for money. Would recommend.

I bought this DVD player for my Daughter. She is very happy so I am very happy. The quality picture , easy to use and no batteries as they are built in. Would recommend this DVD player to everyone.

Good product for the price

Initially very happy with this purchase, nice little swivel screen, plays dvds and cds. Looks nice too. After only a very short amount of time, maybe 3 days or so, error messages appeared when trying to play dvd or cd. Did all of the usual things, switched product off and on, cleaned dvds etc. Happened also with brand new dvd straight out of package. I cannot comment on how the seller would have dealt with a return, as although I instigated a return, I ended up missing the return window due to a busy month. On the basis that the product only worked for 3 days though, I wouldn't recommend.

少し重たいけど、きれいに見えます。

Amazing for long car rides with those with kids who need to keep them entertained. It’s small enough that you can put it in a backpack or purse. Also would be good for an airplane ride to watch a good movie.

Ce petit lecteur de dvd est génial. Facile d'emploi et joli. En tout cas je suis étonné de la qualité de cet appareil. Le son fait presque trembler les vitres. Si on ne me crois pas alors acheté en un. Et je parle des vitres de mon appartement. C'est dire. En v9iture il faudra baisser le volume. L'image est aussi belle. De plus il est fourni des Jackson qui correspondent aux couleurs. Très nien si on branche sur la tele. Vraiment un super lecteur. A voire dans le temps. Je suis très content !!!
