Then I tried it out and it has been the only way I wear it for the past 9 months. I especially like the fact that I can clip it to my pants or shorts for the times I don't want to wear a belt and still have access to my basic tool set. For me, I like the magnetic closure. It will self adjust for different sized tools (or lanyard ring up), so the larger 4.5" Leatherman tools will fit just fine. It serves it's purpose and I love the magnetic closure. My only gripe is the belt clip is stitched a little too high on the sheath, causing it to: 1. Stick up vertically, past the belt a little too high and 2.
