No embellishments; it's all about the function. The straight tube and removable spoon head make it easy to clean, and the filter holes give a good flow without getting clogged up. Nice. But why is it so long? It's almost twice as long as a regular bombilla. Sipping out of it, you really have to work against gravity to suck such a massive fluid column up to your mouth. I've gotten used to it and don't notice anymore, but I'll probably use a dremel to cut it shorter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just what I needed. Plenty of bits come through especially where the spoon attaches to the straw. I don't fault them for it though. Best times I've drank the brew, I got bits. I'' not sure how these straws could be made any better for this great a price. I am beyond satisfied with these bombillas and love that i have 2. I've been using them for a while now and they haven't clogged yet. I love how long they are bc i can use them in huge jars full of mate, and the simple design is genius and very easy to clean.
