Aguri GTX90
Very good GPS Speed Camera Detector and in our 1st use it picked up all the Speed Cameras, and also the places where the Speed Cameras Detector Vans tend to hang out. Very good piece of kit to have.

Does the job well.
Accurate and reliable. Gives radar false alarms at traffic lights etc with geo filter turned off but I expected that. It's not a fault it's just a sensitive unit! With Geo on its excellent. Removal of old roadworks specs cameras etc on the database could be better but hey ho.

Radar / speed detector
Returned because it didn’t fit properly on dash also the plug in connection stuck out to far and was a hazard. A great pity because the reviews were excellent ( especially for the price of unit).

1st Unit Replaced - 2nd Unit Doing Well
Well I'm was not a happy bunny, but Amazon Customer Care have improved things. Initially the unit worked well (replacing a Cheetah 550 that was great, that failed after >6 years & is no longer made). I purchased 1st unit May 18th 2025 and in W/C 18th August the audible beeps and messages became intermittent (like a Darlek). I had hoped (bit unrealistically) this was a blip and would resolve as the unit had been really good at spotting UK (M1/M6) detectors, but by Sunday it was completely silent ... lights were on, but no voice messages. So I logged on Amazon to establish the find the vendor quoted return window closed circa 5 weeks prior - so failed unit after only only 3 months use. I took this up with Amazon Customer Care and they accepted to return / refund - the unit had not suffered any impact damage (having permanently lived in the car) as confirmed in photos included with the returned item (unit fully photographed alongside box - matching serial numbers and no damage). I initially gave 2 stars - not happy but the unit had worked well and Amazon were helping via a refund. So the refund has now been used to buy a replacement and so far all is going very well, hence upped to 3 star. Having spent time prr-refund checking other speed detector reviews on the internet there did not seem to be 1-clear winner ... so I have put my faith in the fact the product is generally good and I was just unlucky in getting a "duff unit". NOTE - the manual does say don't leave in the windscreen over long hot periods and that might conceivably have been a factor with the 1st failure, the speaker being at the top of the unit.

Did not work as expected
Not very impressed with aguri.I had a previous model and they stopped supporting updates for it after only having it a few years, and this so called updated model is not very much improved,if at all so have returned and bought a new snooper product that provides more protection and warnings

Jury is out on trust levels
After a couple of 80mph motorway tickets I decided to reinvest in a camera detector (again) My previous Snooper S6 was retired a while ago so I thought the tech would have moved on and improved. WRONG! This picks up so many false readings it is ridiculous. According to this there are GATSOs everywhere, including off road! The alerts for mobile traps is helpful but how accurate they are is debatable. The average speed indicator is a great idea too in this world of constant roadworks. It has slowed me down I suppose, but it makes feel like an 90 year old driver with the constant alarm beeping. How long i can put up with it before it ends up in the drawer with the Snooper, only time will tell.

Exceptional piece of kit
Can you believe - it saved my bacon first afternoon out on A25 with old bill and a handheld laser. The unit covers everything and used it all the time on a trip from south coast to yorkshire - it caught everything (can be a bit annoying at first) - cheaper than points
