Could I use a fast charging 25W plug to then use the headset at 120hz constantly?

I'm pretty sure I read in the documentation that it would not work effectively for prolonged play at 120hz. YMMV. What I can tell you is that it works at 90hz continuously.

Does this enable you to see what is on the headset on a TV and if so how?

I use mine linked to my PC, which is linked to my TV. So if I’m playing PC VR games, yes you see the gameplay on TV. But if you are playing games stored on your headset no, you won’t. To do that you need to mirror the game play from the Quest app to your TV.

No if you read the advert it's just the cable but you can buy the plug separately or connect it to a power pack also. I bought it for my son to plug into power pack so he has a long cable to move around with. Hope this has answered your question x

when you have this cable connected is it constantly engaging and disengaging charging or does it slowly charge..

Before the Quest 2 update, which augmented the power requirements of the Quest, the cable would charge the battery to 80% and then basically keep charging as needed so that it would stay at 80% to keep battery life. Nowadays it cannot charge it WHILE using it, however, it can keep the battery more or less where you had it before your session, so if you start at, let´s say, 70% battery, when you finish you will be around 70% as well. It is constantly charging.
