Direct swap with original Zune hard drive, easy to install
I couldn't be happier with this product so far! I replaced my busted Zune 30gb HDD with this 128gb SSD and it worked perfectly and fit within the original Zune's metal casing for storage. It took a total of 20 mins to disassemble and replace. I wish I had this ability 20 years ago when I was using this thing on the daily. I can't speak to lifespan yet, as it's only been a week of use. But so far, I am very pleased with the product.

Dell D430 - Beautiful Transfer Rates on PATA EIDE
I purchased this, NOT FOR AN iPOD UPGRADE... but for a Dell D430, as this is the only size drive I can get for it. The pricing is insane for this dead technology, thanks to Apple, continuing to use it within their hardware, and those who want to buy a 30GB Apple iPod Video, and upgrade to 128GB. Immediately out of the box, using the preexisting IDE ZIF cable, the drive was detected and I was able to clone over my old drive. Transfer rates are exorbanently higher than my old drive, from 15/20MB/s to 75MB/s. If I'm reading windows right, the drive even supports TRIM. Running Windows 7, the drive is flawless. The only gripe I have is that the hard drive light is on solid, and does not blink. I believe I read somewhere that this is a flaw of replacing the toshiba drive with an SSD in my particular system. I don't think its necessarily the drive. If you have this kind of money, and want to keep your D430 going, buy the drive. It's changed the way I compute, commute, and travel.

Perfect drive for Ipod Classic
I bought this drive to upgrade my old iPod Classic. I am very happy because it fits and works perfectly with no modifications or adapters required which is what I wanted. The price is right too. It costs about the same compared to buying and SD card adapter along with SD card. I noticed that it loads music faster compared to the original hard drive. I also like that I have more than double the original space which was only 30GB. Important note: If using in an iPod make sure you have the proper opening tools as disassembly can be difficult because iPod is very delicate. After that it is plug and play, when you plug it into the computer iTunes will detect that the iPod will need to be formatted. Once it restores the software it will work normal.

Failed after 3 years
Worked fine in a HP 2510p as a boot SSD on Windows 7. Failed after 3 years when the warranty ran out - hence not a suitable, reliable replacement for a slim HDD. Would not trust the brand. Others reported the same. Worried about the other SSD I purchased at the same time. Terribly annoyed to have to reconfigure a new SSD.

SSD drive
I purchased this drive for use for something else and my only fault I broke a vital part to the drive. I did how ever used it and the drive worked before I cause the baler which is the small black part that keeps the zif cable connected snug to the logice board of a smaller device. I have to say the qaulity of the SSD is great and I will have to wait until I order another one.

Good for my uses
I haven't benchmarked it or anything since I doubt I could give accurate results in the crappy UMPC I installed it in, but here's my experience with it after one day: I installed it in my HTC Shift, restored an image of windows 8 to it, and now my shift is running 100x faster. That old stock HDD was really a terrible, terrible bottleneck (and only ~32GB!). I'll update my review if this SSD fails on me any time soon. All I wanted out of this was for it to be a bit faster than the stock HDD (it's a lot faster!), no moving parts, and more space. I am very satisfied thus far. A note for HTC Shift owners, Windows 8 uses significantly less RAM than 7. If you're looking to increase performance on the shift, buying that overpriced 2GB RAM module is COMPLETELY unnecessary. I have 8 Pro running on it, and with the stock 1GB of ram, only 50% is in use after boot, and I've never seen it go higher than 70%. If you put 8 on it (and honestly, you should because 8 runs faster than 7, is more touch friendly, lighter on RAM and CPU usage, better in just about every way, etc), adding another GB of RAM is not going to increase your performance at all. It will literally do NOTHING. You're constrained by the 800MHz processor and the slow HDD- even with this SSD, anything that might possibly use the extra GB of RAM is going to run like s*** with or without it. Better to just rely on the SSD and pagefile.

A parte he puesto otro GB extra (3GB en total) y Windows 8.1 Update 1 64 bits.
