Also does the case stay shut when holding it upside down?** A: As long as you've got some support on part of the cover - for example, when holding it naturally, with a thumb on one side and a few fingers on the other - then the magnets will keep the cover secured in either scenario. I just tested it, and if I hold just the body by its edges, without any support for the cover, the cover can come loose. But I would never actually hold it that way. I've got no complaints about the magnets. **Q: Is this case easy to remove (for occasional use of smart keyboard)?** A: It is easy to pop off. **Q: When the cover is open, does the Apple Smart Keyboard fully attach to the Smart Connector? in the 9.7" version of this case, it did not/overlapped.** A: Yes, the keyboard will fit. I purchased two, one that I cut the cover off of to use it with the apple keyboard and another cover to use when I don't want to use the apple keyboard. **Q: We bought one of these august 2019 and now (feb 2021) it's cracked. should it last longer than 18 months? thanks!** A: Mine barely lasted that. What can I say? It’s a cheap made plastic product. At a cheap price. All I can say, I did drop it on its corner, twice. While it did protect my iPad Air, the second time, the lower right corner tab broke off. So, yes, I’d say it drops twice within 24-mths, it’s likely the corners will only hold those two drops. Very pleased with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Case, With 1 Design Issue... *by M***C on June 27, 2017* As an owner of the 9.7" version of this case, I always liked the simple styling, the smooth material of the exterior, and how well the sleep/wake cover worked. The 10.5" version of the case is even better. The front has the same soft-touch material, while the back feels a little more "grippy" than before. Just a little more rough to make it easier to hold, and possibly more durable. It's well made, perfectly fitted, and a great purchase. I own the 9.7" Apple Smart Keyboard, only attaching it when I need to type...leaving the JETech case to protect my iPad and look lovely while doing so. My only gripe is that the Apple Smart Keyboard does not completely attach when the JETech front cover is fully open. The connector hinge of the Smart Keyboard overlaps part of the JETech case on the Smart Connector side, and does not lay completely flat. It does not prevent use of the Smart Keyboard, but it was a cosmetic and design nuisance that existed in the 9.7" version of this case, which I hoped would be resolved in the 10.5" version a year later. Sadly, it was not. Despite me writing to E-Mail to JETech twice and posting a question about this issue here on Amazon before I made my purchase, I received no response. So for that reason, I am taking off 1 star. Some people have suggested cutting away either part of the case or part of the Smart Keyboard connector to resolve this. But I would think it makes more sense for JETech to alter their design than for anyone to perform surgery on either device. (Photo included to show the issue.) Despite this annoyance, I would buy from JETech again for future iPad cases.
