Can I use a different cartridge/stylus ?

Apparently his uses the Ortofon OM5e cartridge. That's cool because you could replace the stylus only (not the whole cartridge which can be tricky). So you could upgrade to an OM20 stylus (Which is really good) or even an OM30 or OM40 (which probably costs as much as the turntable. All you need to do is pull off the old stylus and push on the new one. Boom. Done!

Does this come with a special slipmat? also is there hardware included for wall mounting?

Yes, the Pro-Ject VT-E-R comes with a special slip mat for the records and wall mounting hardware.

I bought this and the arm/needle just weave up and down the record. It doesnt stay in place. I have it placed correct. Do i need to adjust?

Yes. You need to adjust. There are several adjustments that need to be in lin for the tonearm and cartridge to play a record properly. Try googling 'how to balance a tonearm.'

Does the unit have female rca jacks or a wired cable? If a wired cable, how long is it?
