A perfect addition to my Precision workstation
On the medium setting, which is not too loud, core temperatures dropped 20ยฐC in less than a minute. Set it up as an exhaust fan so pulling air out the top, facilitating air coming in from the front. I also have an auxiliary USB fan that I can plug Into a front USB port and run air in from the front in case things get very hot (large backup or video processing).

Quiet fan
My home office gets quite hot along with the space behind my monitors so I'm using this 3 speeds fan to cool it down. I was pleasantly shock to realise that the fan is very quite. I hadn't noticed a big difference in the speed levels though.

Buy one for every family member
This really is a great product. Especially for the price. Itโs a breeze compared to my old setup. Before I came across this gem, Iโd been using just a regular old computer fan that Iโd yanked from Dianneโs computer and an old camcorder battery I kept from my days working on adult films. It didnโt have any fancy settings or any of this newfangled protection they put into everything nowadays. It was either on or off and if I grabbed it while it was running, I nicked my fingers and thatโs just how it was, until I found this product. Itโs a little bigger than my old fan, so it fits snuggly into my back pocket, with plenty of cord to reach my new power bank I keep in my other pocket or my satchel, and it keeps the air moving. The HML switch is small enough to fit through my belt loops and with some planning, the cable can easily be strung through my belt loops keeping the switch conveniently placed at my side for easy access. Stringing it through my belt loops also keeps excess cord from being snagged by my flailing arms or those damn doorknobs Dianne insisted we get when we remodeled our home last year. I couldnโt believe how great the HML controller is for quick and easy control of the fan speed. The different speeds are great for a variety of cases. The lowest speed is great for just keeping the air flowing and keeping my pants cool and dry while the highest setting is great for quickly dispersing increasingly pungent smells. And itโs so quiet. Even on the highest setting, the fan remains silent. No more awkward โwhatโs that humming noise?โ questions from people I got with my old fan. If it werenโt for the constant cool breeze, Iโd forget it was even there. The grates on both sides are a MUST-HAVE. I thought I would just take them off, but they really do provide great protection on both sides of the fan. I no longer nick my fingers when I remove the fan from my pocket when I forget to turn it off. I havenโt had to put a new bandaid on my finger in days. And no more awkward fidgeting trying to readjust the fan in the heat of the moment after itโs become snagged on the pocket lining. My old fan constantly got caught up on my pocket lining. But the grate keeps the lining away from the fan blades no matter what. And the grate is strudy, too. Only the one time have I managed to depress it far enough that it came into contact with the fan. But, that was only because I accidentally sat down on the metal bleachers at Mathewโs baseball game with it still running in my pocket. But, even then, the grate bounced right back and didnโt bend at all. Itโs still as straight as a rabbitโs ear on the Fourth of July. Iโd recommend this product to anyone looking for a pocket fan. I like it so much, Iโve already purchased one for work, one to keep in my pickup, one to keep in Dianneโs car, and even one for David because I know heโll just love it. Thereโs nothing better than having a cool crevasse in the heat of summer, being able to disperse those wrank bouts of gas after Dianneโs world famous enchiladas, and warm apple pie. Just the other day, Dianne and I were grocery shopping. I let one slip in the produce section down there at the Walmarts. I flipped the switch to high and in a matter of seconds, it was a row over. The poor girl stacking the carrots started gagging because she thought some of her produce had gone bad. But no one looked at me for a change.

Running 24/7 for past year, and still going!
The internal fan stopped working on my GE Opal ice maker. Rather than replacing the original fan, I decided to give this a try by attaching it to the outside with magnets. It has been running 24/7 for a year today (11/11/25) and still going strong! I havenโt evening cleaned the dust off of it and it just keeps spinning along. Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Works perfectly for the ice maker on the medium speed.

Perfect!
Worked perfectly for drawing hot air out of home theater cabinet (30โw x 15โh x18โd) that contained AV receiver,Blu-ray player, ethernet switch and Tablo device. Drilled multiple 3/16โ holes in bottom of cabinet, have a centrifugal blower fan drawing cool ,fresh air in from bottom of cabinet through these holes and used this fan to draw this induced cabinet air out. Interior cabinet air is drastically cooler now. Both work fine powered by the 5v usb outleton front of AV receiver. Fans silently operate only when reciever is powered on, shuts when the receiver is turned off.

Perfect for cooling a hot and slow wifi router
I bought this to cool down an AT&T NVG599 modem and router combo that I noticed would get very hot with incredibly slow wifi, requiring a daily reset. I looked inside the router and saw that there was no active cooling at all, only two heat sinks with no airflow. Putting a fan in front of the router seemed to fix the wifi lag, but the only fan I had was big, loud, and probably used too much electricity to cool a single router. Due to the terrible internal design of the NVG599 modem I had to set the fan to high, but the fan is very quiet even on high when placed in my living room. However, It might produce a humming that would be noticeable in a small and quiet bedroom. It's totally irresponsible that companies design wifi routers without active cooling because hot routers are a real issue that leads to slow wifi, but I can see why ISPs would be motivated to cut this particular corner. Whenever I've asked technicians from AT&T and Verizon that have come to my house to service my internet they found this idea to be ridiculous and blamed it on my cheap internet plan. But from my own experimentation, I know that router heat is the real issue because Ethernet connections work fine and wifi is still slow even when testing the speeds right next to my router. Before you shell out more money for subpar internet from the big ISPs, give this fan a try.

Great fan!
This is a great little fan! It's very quite, has 3 speed settings and it can either connect into a USB port or a regular outlet with a USB adapter. I use it to cool down my large Harman-Kardon stereo receiver. It sits flat on top of the receiver and makes no noise what so ever with the added rubber stick on feet! My previous HK receiver use to shut off when it got hot...not with this one!

Draws heat out of an AV Receiver
Nice quiet fan. I have it laying on top of an AV Receiver which is shelf mounted with limited air flow. I wanted something that would come on automatically. I plugged a usb power supply into a switched outlet on the receiver, set the hard fan switch to on. So everytime I power up the receiver, the fan comes on. Works very well to draw heat out of the AV receiver. The fan is very quiet and vibration free.

Quiet
Works well. It needs a system to attach it to a mini computer on the back of a monitor. I have to sit it on a piece of wood to get it high enough to cool the unit.

Great little fan for fanless systems
I bought this for my router. I have a little Intel N100 mini-PC that I use as a router/firewall with OPNsense installed on it. When there was a lot of traffic through my network, the processor would get up to 80c - 84c which is pretty hot, but ever since I got this fan, I haven't seen it go above 70c. It's very quiet and plugs in to USB. I like the switch as well, because you can set it to low, medium, or high. The only downside is that I am unable to actually attach it to the router, so I just have to lay it on top, but it still does the trick.
