I have not got that much to add to the many existing fine reviews of this product. When the product description used the word “large,” I didn't realize just how large this thing would be, and so I naively thought I could toss it into my camera's gadget bag! Think again, as it's far too big for that (unless I buy a bigger bag)! So, I keep it at home, and use it regularly. It creates a tremendous movement of air, so it's fine for blowing off dust particles and other small pieces of debris that collect on the camera lens, and other places. I keep a UV filter permanently in place on my lenses, but dust gets underneath even so, and so this blower comes in handy for regular cleaning. As other people have observed, this device won't remove everything, so you should still invest in a cleaning brush if you want to be able to clean your camera and lens properly. I've noticed a lot of comments about whether or not you should clean your camera's sensor, and I will add my two cents for what they're worth. I'd be very careful with regard to blowing air into the camera's innerds, whether it be by the use of this product, or when using a spray can (and you should be ultra careful when using the latter at all times because little dabs of propellant could come out and you don't want those inside your precious camera's inner workings). Most definitely do not stick the nozzle of this device right inside the camera body where it could touch sensitive parts like the mirror, shutter, or sensor. Keep a respectful distance when dealing with such components. This is a great product, and it does exactly what it's designed to do – no more, no less. I'd recommend it to anybody.

I love this thing!!! While reading other people's reviews I thought it was funny how many people said it was fun to use. I was thinking "it just shoots air, these people are freaks." But, now that I have mine I %100 agree with those freaks, lol. I have been driving my girl absolutely nuts since it has arrived. I have cleaned all of our camera lenses and bodies, all of the keyboards in the house (including hers while she was using it), my mouse, blasted the dust out of the corner where the tv frame meets the screen, and chased the cats around with it for a while. It's great! In my opinion The Rocket is better than canned air in every way. No waste, no worry of spraying freezing liquid all over your electronics, you get as much air as you can stand to pump, and despite what other posters say MORE pressure. The harder/faster you squeeze it, the harder/faster the air comes out. My girl's keyboard has a loose key from one of her dumb friends being dumb, and The Rocket blasted it right off the keyboard. Canned air has never done that. The people complaining about the pressure apparently need to go to the gym or something. It also feels very sturdy. It is made of fairly thick (assuming that the body is the same thickness as thinnest part of the wings it is just over 1/10th of an inch) texturized rubber, which bounces back immediately between each squeeze. I have only had it for 2 days now so I can't say much about durability yet, but it is made of a combination of ABS and natural rubber so it should last if taken care of. The packaging says to keep it out of direct sunlight, and not to use anything other than clear water to clean it to prevent damage to the natural rubber. I highly recommend this to anyone who has any need for canned air, and it is a must for cleaning SLRs. For the price, you will definitely not regret buying it. Even if you can't get the pressure you want out of it, it is still a great substitute for the can in most situations.

Pros: 1) Powerful! I bought it for slides and negatives for a scanner I bought. I had to return the scanner and get a new one, but I'm not returning this. It gets most everything, and for anything stubborn, I use a microfiber cloth. I even blow it at my dog and he makes funny faces because of con #1 down below. 2) Seems well built of high quality materials 3) If it wasn't clear anywhere else, this device sucks in from a one-way valve in the back which means it's not sucking any stuff in from the front. 4) Just the right amount of velocity. It is not too much so it won't blow keys off they keyboard or send my family photos into the next room like my air compressor would. 5) Unlike canned air, there is no danger of a puff of propellant coming out. It's also free to use, vs. the canned air that you keep having to replace. My air compressor works well, but it can get humidity and chunks of rust or dust that come out. Don't want that on my negatives or on my scanner. Cons: 1) I don't know why this thing smells like perfume, inside and out, but I feel like I'm in a nightclub using it. Were they trying to cover up a rubbery smell or were they trying to get me in trouble with the wife? Every time I use this, she looks at me funny. Why do I smell like funky perfume? 2) It topples over easy. They put legs on the back to make it look like a rocket, but it is top heavy and falls over easy then bounces off onto the ground to become a chew toy. Would have rather had legs on the side or something to keep it from rolling. 3) I use this A WHOLE LOT on negatives for my second scanner (had to send first one back) I have about 5,000 negatives to scan in and each one gets a few puffs on the front and back and then the scanner gets several pumps. My hands are sore every day. Still, better than the alternatives.

This is wonderfully versatile tool. And I am so grateful it is in my life. I purchased it to keep the SONY lenses on my new SONY a7r free of debris. It works beautifully. It has helped me immensely and many times when the breeze in sunny San Diego brought an unwelcome dust particle to my lens or lens filter. It blows off tiniest and larger particles immediately. It is an indispensable travel companion in my photo backpack and gets almost daily use. I trust it to blow off dust and debris and leave the lens or lens filter clean and clear. The valve built into the Rocket Air blaster prevents any dirty air from being expelled back onto the surface you are cleaning. What a great concept and extremely helpful. It is small enough to fit into my backpack or smaller photo bag, and can even be squished and folded to take up less space. I also use it to blow dust off my eyeglasses, computer equipment and so forth. A great tool to have and definitely indispensable. I totally recommend it for hobby and professional photographers alike. Pros: it is inexpensive; it's on prime delivery; it has a built-in valve to keep the dirty air away from your surfaced to be cleaned; it's small; it's foldable; it can stand and be stable on a flat surface; one handed operation, red tip to find it easily in your bag of tricks Cons: it's black so it sometimes gets 'lost' in a black bag with black equipment around it, luckily the red tip helps keep it visible :)

Giotto makes the best hand-held airblowers (in my experience.) In this case it’s being used to blow dust out of a laptop keyboard. If you compare it to another brand to blow the same piece of paper, this will send that paper farther away. I have used another Giotto to blow dust off camera lenses and it works great. The rubber used is just soft enough to provide an easy squeeze, and solid enough to provide a strong burst of air. One more thing: hold the keyboard upside down over a towel to let the dust fall away from the keyboard while you blow on it. You may need to have someone hold the keyboard while you squeeze the Giotto. BONUS: You may also build up your hand muscles in the process!

unironically worth the price, theres a lot of inflated cool factor for those that think they need this.. but its actually functionally better. more airflow volume, it will last longer, and it doubles as a great stress toy. sounds ridiculous but i wouldnt mind dropping $20 for another one.

Very functional. Cheap price. We all use this on set for lens changes. The fins allow it to stand upright, and you can hang it on your belt/bag/cart. It blows decently. Recommend.

Ce n'est pas le genre de produit dont on a 50 modèles chez soit, alors c'est assez difficile de l'évaluer objectivement. Comparer à une poire pour bébé achetez à la pharmacie le souffle est très puissant, la poire est souffle se pressent sans effort et elle évacue assez bien les poussières un peu difficile sans non plus décollé celle qui se sont bien installées. L'autre avantage c'est que lorsque l'on pointe vers une zone et que l'on presse la poire, elle reste pointe vers cette zone, ça se s'en va pas d'un côté ou de l'autre comme avec la poire bébé. C'est pratique et évite de s'y reprendre à 20 fois pour souffler à un endroit précis. Il y a une valve à l'arrière pour reprendre de l'air, j'espère donc que le produit tiendra dans le temps. J'apprécie aussi de pouvoir la poser debout, certain diront que c'est gadget, je trouve que ça permet surtout d'éviter d'avoir la pointe rouge qui frotte partout et ramasse de la poussière qui serait envoyer vers ce que l'on veut justement nettoyer… Un bon produit en somme, pas déçu, quid de la solidité dans le temps ? À voir, pour le moment fini les crampes à presser ma poire pour bébé, et un nettoyage plus efficace en bien moins de temps alors ça vaut les quelques euros demandés en échange de ce confort sans aucun doute possible.
