EasyFlex No-Dig Landscape Edging with BONUS SPIKES is a durable and flexible landscaping solution to beautifully finish any gardening project. Designed for quick and easy installation, no digging is required to install the plastic edging kit, which contains everything needed to create a clean line between grass and landscaping, including MORE SPIKES than the amount in normal kits! Simply clear the area of loose dirt and debris, align the edging to your desired area, and use a rubber mallet to pound the anchoring stakes (included) into the ground. Since every project is different, EasyFlex garden edging is easy to cut to the length you need with garden shears. The traditional no-dig edging is flexible enough to create tight circles around trees and the patented No-Dig L-shape design eliminates damage from digging into tree and plant roots. The 1.5-inch-high recycled plastic edging is strong enough to withstand a string trimmer and retain pine needles, lava stone, river rock, cedar, plastic, wood mulch, and more. Kit contains (1) 40-foot coil of edging and (24) 8-inch spiral anchoring spikes, which can complete a 40 linear foot installation. EasyFlex No-Dig Landscape Edging is made of recycled materials in the USA. Review: Much better than metal edging + gotcha's / tips & tricks - We installed this edging last spring around some fruit trees in order to stop grass and weeds from growing under the branches where it is hard to mow with a riding mower. On the positive: * Install was relatively easy (once you unwound the dang thing and got it laid out) although we did dig out the area first. * The edging keeps its shape well (with additional stakes) * It is easy to mow over and doesn't bend when you hit it (like the metal edging does) * The edging, when placed at appropriate height, is virtually invisible. We installed around the remainder of the trees this year. A few things to be aware of: (1) 30 stakes is not enough to maintain a nice curve. We found that 1 stake in every other hole worked well. (2) If you use to edge grass, you will likely still get a few runners that come up underneath since it is only 1.5" deep. We used an electric edger and pulled out any runners we saw in the fall and spring and it seems to be all that is needed. (3) Cutting the edging is difficult. Regular scissors won't do it and neither will garden sheers. We used sheet metal cutters and it was still difficult. Make absolutely sure you have your shape before you begin cutting! Installation tips (learned the hard way!): (1) To get a good curve, cut a piece of cardboard, 3-4ft long, with the curvature appropriate for the diameter of circle you want to create and use as a guide. (The edging is fairly stiff making it imprecise to work with and so using a string to measure and eyeballing for correction does not create a nice circle, no matter what your husband says!) Per above, use additional stakes to keep the shape. (2) Make sure the ground is as flat as possible where you place the edging. If the ground is not perfectly flat, don't push the stakes in too far or the edging will tilt. (3) If you are planning to mow over the edging, the best height for the outside of the edging is slightly below the height of your lawn when it is cut to the length you want. The non-lawn side should also have fill just slightly below the top edge. If the edging is too deep, the grass will grow over the top. If it is too shallow, the mower will hit it. Review: Best Product So Far - This product was really easy to install and amazingly robust. This material is perfect for when you have to make a landscape edge that does not require more than a few inches. Ideal to work with and with very few tools you can have professional looking landscape edging. I am a small lady and I created several watering wells beyond the dripline of my citrus trees all by myself. Our drought tolerant landscape in the west proved a detriment to the surface roots of fruit bearing trees (imagine large sections of Arizona river rock mulch). We had to do something, so we decided to remove the rocks and make shallow water moats with leaf mulch underneath each tree. The drip system is already in place, so it took only an hour to do each tree due to having to remove the rock mulch, clear, and level the circumference under each tree. The actual install took less than 15 minutes. All I needed were garden snips to cut the pieces and a rubber mallet. I made the circumferences all the same, so I precut the circles and from that point forward all I needed to do was use the mallet. My daughter asked me how much the landscaper charged for the job and was surprised to find out that a 74 year old grandmother did it all by herself!

Great Product
Easy to install! Seems like a very sturdy and strong thick plastic. Makes great professional looking landscape lines and curves. One recommendation, buy the extra stakes, I saw this same recommendation in a review before I purchased, and I am glad I did. It does come with some stakes, but not enough if you really want to secure it o ground. That is the only reason for the 4 star as opposed to 5 stars, the added cost.

So much easier than the old "dig type" of plastic border and at a great price
We were getting ready to put some 3/4" river rock around the outside of our pool enclosure and I needed some edging to help keep the rock in place. I've used the traditional plastic edging at my last house and let's just say I wasn't happy with all of the digging I had to do. We decided to give this a try based on a lot of positive reviews. The price was much better here than at the local "big box" stores and the longest length they had in the store was 60ft, this was 100 ft with a $5 price difference, couldn't beat it. Some helpful tips: Prep Work: Unroll it and let it sit out in the sun for a few hours to help it straighten out a bit, put something on each end to keep it in place While you can install it by yourself, two people make it a lot easier Use a metal garden rake or shovel to make sure the edge area is level, or as smooth as it can be, depending on your landscape We have pretty sandy soil here in Florida so I wet the edge area first with a hose, it seemed to help give the spikes more grab Buy EXTRA spikes, if you're going to do a lot of bends and rounded corners, you'll need them. Sandy or loose soil, they'll help a lot Tools: I used a rubber mallet, a pair of snips for cutting and a heat gun in a few places where I need to make some sharp bends. A garden rake and shovel will be needed to prep the area. Installation: Lay the edging out where you want to install it Start at the end and then put a spike in every 6 feet or so to get the rough outline Make adjustments to the shape Once you're happy, go back and put the rest of your spikes in. I spaced them about 3 feet apart, corners and bends, about 1 foot apart I have to say, it was much easier using the no-dig edging than the old plastic stuff. It's holding the rock very well and I get compliments on it from friends and neighbors. It's holding up well against my weekly weed whacking, which is a plus. Not including the prep time, my wife and I installed almost 300 feet in about half a day and that was with taking more than a few breaks to hydrate and stretch.

Amazing and affordable edging option.
The edging is awesome, super easy to roll out and install. I did very minimal digging and think it looks great. The edging is sturdy but easy to make curved lines. Their customer service is also top notch.

Excellent tool for in ground gardens using permaculture techniques
This product was the answer to my specific permaculture gardening design needs that I’ve been looking for. When establishing a no dig garden with the cardboard method, I punch the stakes right through the cardboard and it anchors it perfectly, creating a biodegradable weed barrier that is held down efficiently. It holds my straw mulch from drifting away during wind and watering, and helped me to anchor areas that were having erosion problems while planting and building up perennial species. It also helps with human factors that many people have to keep in mind in their own situations: I share a property not only with my fiancee, but also his family who live nearby (it is Native American land their family was granted long ago, so they all live nearby) and I had problems in the past with other family members trying to help out or walk around and damaging plants and beds that they didn’t realize were important. This style of edging clearly communicates what is grass—where everyone can walk and mow and mess around—and what is garden or a newly established tree, bush, etc. It looks neat so I get compliments even from those who like the traditional lawn aesthetic. Very importantly, it also is affordable and really goes a long way. Make sure to purchase extra pegs because the more you anchor it down, the better it looks and works. You can make some really awesome designs with this easily, and I highly recommend it for those who, like me, want to establish garden beds that are separate from the public lawn, protect those beds and keep the mulch tidy and together longer, and help to control the flow of water in subtle yet important ways.

Good quality, not enough spikes.
The edging itself is pretty decent. Seems solid and I'm confident it'll last years. The spikes are the problem. They only give you enough to place them every 3 feet. For this reason I opted for the one with bonus spikes. And, of course, I was shorted on those. Always upsets me when I get ripped off. But I'm getting used to it nowadays.

Bueno pero pocas estacas.
Práctico y fácil de instalar pero sólo 8 estacas para los 12 metros son pocas. Tuve que usar piedras para que quede más firme.

Simple to install
I really like this EasyFlex no‑dig edging kit — it’s simple, sturdy, and does exactly what you need for a clean-looking yard. Installation is super easy since you don’t have to dig at all. Just shape it where you want your border and hammer in the included anchoring spikes. The recycled plastic is durable yet flexible, so it forms both straight lines and nice smooth curves around trees or garden beds. It’s strong enough to hold in mulch, stone, or soil, and it works well with weed fabric because the spikes go right through to secure everything. Overall, it’s a reliable, low‑maintenance edging option that makes DIY landscaping look professional.
